Can directors not buy through the share incentive plan if they have historically been doing that?

Laura - i think filtering isn't the way tp handle alternative views. I learnt a lot in other shares from those with a contrary view and its helped me prosper over the longer term.

Also the dollar has strentghened against pound making acquisition even cheaper

My strong hunch is that this will be sold at these prices.

Jim800 - no one is stupid on this board, but there have been substantial numbers of takeovers in the past 2 years with signficant premia attached.

Don't be surprised the premium of a potential bid at this price. Hotel Chocolat was sold at 170% premium; Microfocus was 100%.... I can go on.

No worries wentsworth. I just post stuff that might ground shareholders in the reality that this is severely undervalued now.

And by the way I am no enemy of Wood group. I am a shareholder - and I reserve the right to look at both sides of the arguments.
