Trade unions want to commit corporate suicide - just go straight ahead and help yourself. Keep going and many shareholders will sell down their entire holding. Trade unions are toxic!

Pokerchips - on the money! I have to say one of the few that makes sense in the current mess.... pity our politicians dont have 'common sense'

Baffled - I am beyond belief. Its entirely counter-intuitive and economic laws are all but dead! At 17p (just over) old money and for how far RBS has travelled in the last 10 years, this is just plain stupid prices....

Dodger777 - you have got to be in this for the long-term - this is not a quick buck. Patience wins every time. Trump is an old-age pensioner - same age almost as my poor father who is no longer with us.... He's the most unstable leader the world has ever seen... the US deserves him....

Taverham - Recession fully priced IMO. I'm buying more.

MrFlibble - its cheap in reality - not just on paper.... People are far too down on it. It grew EPS last year by 9%. Very few growth stocks out there anywhere...

Wexford - Not in the least worried.... whilst others buy on a rising market - I buy on a falling market.... I generally do the opposite of the herd!

RBS makes record profit - gets downgraded for overperforming. I entirely ignore ratings - they follow the share price. I ignore them entirely.

Philpot - no deal will mean an instant rise in interest rates to combat imported inflation - simple as that!!!!

George - I really can't pick between the big ones... Aviva certainly one of the most under-priced out there.... but take your pick...

Wexford - devious comment meant to deceive people. That RNS showed a reduction in holding of 0.01% - effectively a non-RNS... I'm actually please to see every reduction in share as I've been adding for days across the board.... Other people's madness is the making of the next generation of entrepreneurs...

Haven't been buying many of these as too many other stocks are undervalued.... may slip into the market to buy a few shortly.... but really far too many are undervalued...

Oh my God - cannot believe how underpriced shares are - right across every sector, shares are being sold far short of fair value. Aviva on P/E ratio of 6 is juts bonkers.... After announcing fantastic results, I thought Lloyds was fair value at 70-80 pence and I was quite willing to pay that... I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.... people are selling out shares at the worst time possible because they are too cheap!

Being sold for nothing now - £1.91 values a £4.5 billion pound asset at £1.9 billion... Britain PLC being sold for nothing at the moment.... Sooner or later people will realise the value that is out there. FTSE heading to 7,000 almost as low as 1999 - 20 years of no growth - thanks to Brexit!!!

Banks going down 40% in a month - doesn't seem at all rational - Market jitters don't scare me - I just hold for a return - at these prices, one simply cannot lose as a long-term investment. Banks are operating in an entirely better context than ever before - regulation is tougher than it ever was and bank deposits are healthy...
