Lupus is obviously good data and strange that they have not announced this via RNS. The usual Sareum story don't tell anybody anything until we really really must, and then play it down. Let's hope Tim's positivity comes out in the next RNS about how we are more selective than current products. From a big pharma perspective, it won't be nice to be told, "ours is better than yours".

A molecule of Nimbus Therapeutics that was licensed to Celgene at the beginning of October: AND Little ole Sareum..Market cap for the above companies compared to ours...Go figure..

Hey Stoney, Tim has mentioned in a previous conference that the big pharma "certainly know who we are". The big difference with this is that Sareum are in the driving seat for the license, it is not complicated by the involvement of ICR/CRUK, Tim has also stated previously that with the right target and the right molecule you can do a deal at any time. All interviews on proactiveinvestor website to confirm these statements. For a 20million market cap company we have achieved so much in the battle against cancer and the future is looking very bright for both cancer sufferers and Saruem as a company.

Thought I would look a bit deeper into the CRUK agreement and actual origins of Chk1. Concluded that it may well have been discovered by the technology Sareum at the time called "Template Screening technology". Agreed, need Tim to do an interview I think and discuss the potential sales of Chk1 and the revenue this would give Sareum.

What are others opinions on the case for a buyout of Sareum from Sierra? With the compelling results they are getting from Chk1 and the clear expansion into more trials and ultimately more potential sales, they are the best informed to make a decision to purchase this little 2 man company for what could in effect save them hundreds of millions each year in potential royalty payments. Strategically they would be better off (if they had the money), buying Sareum for ~400million before end of 2018 than having to pay more than that each year in royalties. They can't exactly buy CRUK or ICR but can claw back some of their sales for their compound by buying Sareum. To be classed as a "real" drug company SRRA need to have more than 1 drug, expansion of their pipeline is required to remove risk and allow the company to be valued without the high dependency on Chk1 - with our recent intentions for tyk2 this plays nicely into SRRA strategy for expanding compounds "reach". They could increase their pipeline by 4 compounds tackling multiple cancer indications with what would be a simple purchase of a 2 man company. Should they wait longer than 2018 then Sareum's value may be more with upcoming tyk2 and aurora conclusions to current studies. This potential income for Sareum makes us a nice target for a T/O without considering our other compounds. View appreciated.

tyk2 candidates selections, will happen mid-year according to interims. Then the real move when one of them is licensed. Further milestone from CHK1 which we don't know any dates for will also move the SP north.

A little bias towards AZ then matey. haha. Good and Bad on both I'm sure, and certainly not questioning the level of expert knowledge my friend. Just think Sareum can do things better and quicker. Pro's and Con's for both I think.

you would to define "things", decision making during compound developement, Yes, Tim has said before it takes big companies months to make decisions since it is only 2 people they make it very quickly. Compound development and design, yes they are better than AZ, that is their niche - they could easily get a job for a big player but went alone to cut down the delays and democracy I'd imagine. Big pharma is outsourcing R&D more and more, and it is to little specialist companies like Sareum. Once Sareum have a success under their belt then we will see in-license deals IMO. Why have they not bought in? Can't answer that one mateyboy, but maybe they are looking at tyk2, depends if you're feeling pessimistic or optimistic today.

Yes agree, it would have been nice to get a bit more upfront but like you say no point in dwelling on the past, and the future for Chk1 looks great and is in the best hands with NG and his team.
