Let's not forget that SDC1801 has already been trialled in humans, the company is telling us the tox study in animals result was not SDC1801 related, there is more evidence to support this than challege it. A third party has also now confirmed that the control animals did not have SDC1801.

Yes Krone, the good news was 1802 has finished translation studies, but the disappointment is that they don't warrant that news as RNS worthy alone, we've waited years for that moment and it's just wrapped in these results. They will have data they could show the market but choose not to, sometimes understandably but with the share price where it is, an 1802 update would have been a welcome publication.

Good update and cleared up the 1801 not at fault.

1802 finished translation studies, that is a big milestone. Maybe we get a slide on this today.

Krusty, have a google of Zanubrutinib, same thing happened, it added 4 months to the timeline but its now generating £2B+ The developer BeiGene was bought by AmGen for $27B. These things happen, it doesn't impact future value of the drug or the company. Human data bests any animal data in anyway. Lets see what the investor presentation brings to light.

To be clear what they are telling us, the animals which have NOT been treated with Sareums compound have showed a safety issue. So these animals would have been injected with a saline solution which should have had no impact, it has not been the case. We now can't continue the study.

The previous study of 1801 in HUMANS had no safety concerns during the phase 1.

It's a very unfortunate event for Sareum but these are the struggles we must go through when we invest in biotech.

Our phase 1 data still stands, and the psoriasis market is still £30B.

To be clear, this is not a drug issue, it's a control group issue, could be due to a number of things. It just invalidates the data they will have. Shame but not an unusual event.

Agree with Hopkirk, this is huge trade and smashes the normal volume we see at such low market cap with very little in the way of interest over the last year really.

The general direction looks to have turned a corner or spoon or cup, whatever it was, haha. Share direction and trade on the end of day bid, I would say this has been placed when we were at 14/15p, post Parker presentation or chat afterwards. Now filled and reported.

It's a good sign of confidence from someone more in the know than us.

The opposite, you would cut the dead wood broker who hasn't facilitated the early discussions on the upcoming deal. Oberon have been joint for over 6 months now. They've facilitated something to warrant full coverage.. IMO

The immediate direction of the company, as stated by Stephen, is a license for 737, we don't need money right now, we multiple inflection points within the next 6 months. If we do continue on this journey then we would raise on the back of them, but there must be a clever strategy for any raise. If we sell on the assets then what else would grow the business.

I think less about fund raise with this appointment and more about getting a deal over the line with a single broker who SP had liked the ways of working and let's be honest the other brokers haven't helped Sareum over the years so cutting them off when we are at our end game is a nice move.

Oberon are certainly not the biggest but Stephen has obviously liked what he's seen to date, perhaps there's some personal connection with the board. Either way it streamlines our Comms and is probably cost efficient.

We might be Oberon's golden egg.
