Reckon large economies like US and China will look to Infrastructure projects going into late 2020 to boost their own economy, so hopefully that will keep nickel prices in good stead. (Not to mention use of Stainless Steel in healthcare facilities).

I would hope that they are being more prudent on the cash flow going for, especially under the current environment. So hopefully all is good going into Q2/Q3.

Can you clarify that view Lucando.

I’m not an accountant, so would appreciate any clarity here.

My simple take was $25m in October say at 1.3 USD conversion rate would be around £19.2m. If the cash position at the end of December is £17,8m then they use £1.5m over Oct/Nov/Dec. (£0.5m per month) Assume the same again for Jan/Feb/Mar cash would now be around £16.3m. At that rate of expenditure we’ve over 2.5years of cash left.

iMHo, I suspect a few mines won’t be rushing back on line too quickly even if Covid 19 is quashed. They probably were running at a loss or on fumes so will keep shuttered till Nickel price is back at say 14K +

In addition the So called Indonesian ramp up must be taking a knock at present.

Technically Araguia is the only real operation HZM is focused on. Hence if you assume Orion’s money was for Araguia, keeping the lights on is effectively a necessity to work on Araguia.

Institutions are selling everywhere to fee up cash, margin calls abound. Think this is just hunkerdown time now.

Keeping a keen eye on how Asia and in particular China are coping going forward as that, to me at least, is the forward indicator on how things will improve. (Health and economy wise).

No real experience here, but looks to me that the Real is in the order of 20% less than when DFS released. I’m sure that should help keep local costs now and going forward cheaper, so hopefully our moneys in USD is going a lot further.

True sound buy, liquidity indeed. Hard to understand how around £100K worth of trades can cause a 30% fall in a companies market capitalisation.

Good to see positivity by posters, HZM have cash to progress with the project and sort out mine finance. JM has been known to let dates slip and it was interesting that we didn’t even get an updated presentation on the recent investor call. But here we are and world is not the same place as when the call was carried out.

I’m happy holding my Shares and although this SP gives me a great opportunity to average down. The reality for me anyway is that I’d need to buy a fair amount (for me) to bring my average down meaningfully to bother with, so sitting tight letting time and HZM behind the scenes do their job.

This current market offers opportunities everywhere, but I’m just adding to my investment trusts that pay dividends as I’m retired (fortunately at 50, some years back) and reminding myself this is a long game not a sprint.

Never fun seeing your investments go down, but only paper losses for peeps.

HZM recently hired a Mining Director to handle this side of the business as help towards finalising mine development studies prior to finance and decision to proceed. Sure ACP can do something similar if needs be.

Not that I would complain about a 15p Dividend. At £1 SP that’s a 15% yield which if dividends of that order were announced as yearly say then I reckon we would be £2-£3 in short order. Lol
