Crux Investor Questions5 Sep 2020 08:27
Well I didn’t think we would see JM do another interview with Crux, but I’m hoping it will be positive. I put a few questions to them and would urge others to do the same. As this may be a good opportunity to get more info or at least furthermore insight into the boards thinking. Below are my attempts at some questions. I’m sure others can do better.
1) Araguaia is due to get the finance package sorted towards the end of Q4. How has the recent devaluation of the Real to the US dollar improved/effected the costs for equipment, materials, labour and will this potentially reduce the overall amount of funds needing to be raised?
2) When are we likely to see details on the mine team scaling up along with an actual programme for the development going forward?
3) The board are preparing to raise the equity part of Araguaia phase 1. With apparently little or no value currently being attributed to Vermelho in the share price. How will the board take into consideration the dilution from the equity raise in not giving away future values for the remaining assets Horizonte owns?
4) Elon Musk had commented on miners getting on with projects to provide nickel asap, but it has to be green in ESG terms. How practical is this for developing Vermelho and the production of class 1 Nickel for Lithium Ion Batteries?
5) The timescales and money needed to develop Vermelho on top of building Araguaia would appear to be huge and potentially debilitating for a small mining company. Are we still looking to partner Vermelho and what timeline is being envisaged for such a JV if we are really intending to build this mine and not sell it on?
I’m sure there are more questions people want to ask, but figured it good if we get others send in their questions as this might get more of response/action from Crux.
