I’m speculating here, so apologies for that. If we assume Elon is producing a battery that requires essentially Nickel as the cathode and no longer needs to be combined with say cobalt or manganese, may be the sulphate solution is no longer a necessity to help in the battery compound as it’s essentially a single metal.

Interested to hear what others think.

Only my view, (small shareholder), but I would have sold up my shares if I thought we had reached max value. As it is I haven’t and am of the opinion that the news due will be bigger than anticipated. It may not translate into a surge in the SP on the off, but reckon we will see good progress in the weeks ahead. Well that’s my view anyhow. Some might sell some or all tomorrow on the principal of sell on the news or not feeling much more to offer in the near term, so best to move on. But that’s always going to happen. Personally suggest it’s best to scale in, so if there is a dip you can buy more tomorrow.

Fair point, but surely there is an advantage to Brazil to have the resources stay in country then smelt or HPAL the nickel, make the batteries and cars in Brazil and then ship them out for more money. That’s what Indonesia are trying to do with the mining and smelting of Nickel pig iron rather than just ship out the low cost ore.

Well made for an eventful day. Considering the volume being bought when this was in the rising trendline, the 14.5m shares traded should have hopefully cleared out a fair few profit takers (don’t know why they waited so long to sell, but there we go). Any weak holders who haven’t real conviction. Probably some momentum traders and those that don’t appreciate the progress HZM have made and what we actual assets we have. Takes all types to make a market I suppose.

Not sure HZM can announce prior to Battery day if there is a deal with Elon, so probably Wednesday. But I’m not expecting news as such, but seriously won’t complain DJ if you’re right.

Illumina, hived off Grail (Unlisted Company) a while ago and now are buying them back according to CNBC this morning.

Joey, put this out previously. Think you can see their is a huge amount of news to come in the next few months on Araguaia, let alone what maybe brewing on Vermelho.

Whilst we may not get big institutional types in, don’t rule out small equity funds and/or Private family managed funds. In addition the 5 banks looking on the debt I’m sure will have informed their in-house managers of what’s likely to be happening so they may well start building a position sooner rather than later.

Just looked at my portfolio and my shares (ISA & SIPP) are now consolidated and at the share price 36.74p (no doubt will adjust on opening of market).

Whilst the Crux interview probably won’t reveal anything new. It would provide HZM with a bigger PI audience as others become aware of another Nickel company not run by Mark Selby that has amazing assets and is close to sorting out the finances for a construction ready project.

In addition it would be interesting to see JM’s body language to the questions posed.

RNS on new contract. Not the hoped for RNS though.

Wouldn’t rule out Teck (or that matter Glencore) broaching the subject with Elon. They know what is held at Vermelho and if they were to act as lead miner how fast and what scale of production could be persued.

But this is all conjecture at present, nice to dream, but will wait for the news. In the meantime we wait on the funding for Araguaia, equity raise and possible pre paid off take agreements.

Plenty of news flow to push the SP along, especially as Nickel is above our project base line of $14K.
