Blimey all a little pessimistic over the last few days from a few. We don't know what will happen, bod said hopefully end of march so we wait for end of march.
At present imo if no deal has been signed by the end of Marc it still doesn't mean its not coming it's just delayed. The science is good, the companies forward looking statement is good for the future, the different projects they are looking at etc

If your invested for the future of the company what does the end of march matter OR a placing for that matter. Yes be a pain BUT if your invested for the science and the company going forward then if its needed and can be proved it will advance the company whats the problem?

3 was, 6 months 1 yr all depends on eqch investors time lines doesn't it? If your a trader then that's where u might be thinking the way some are.

Think although abramovitch (may have spelt it wrong) has been sanctioned I'm sure he was saying he was selling Chelsea and giving all the proceeds (approx 3billion) to Ukraine to rebuild etc. I don't know enough about politics but am curious why they've sanctioned him?? To get them to pressure putin? Would that even make any difference at all. . . . Personally don't think so :o(

Just to clarify though that sale (definitely was at the buy price at that time was not a that price) I believe it didn't drop to that price for a buy all day? However i do also believe that sale was being worked all day hence the fluctuations imo of course. ALSO the sale amount of shares of just under 4million shares equates to less then approximately 0.0015% of the company (if I've worked it out right), so not really a massive deal?

I've been in from 2020, in pension from 2021 my average in the pension is 30 from averaging down from 37, I probably don't count as an lth but there's no way I've ridden this rollercoaster of an sp knowing what we have to be selling for anything less than 1.00 (if nothing else for the stress of being underwater for over a year lol)

If this is true (at moment hearsay but to be fair so was the invasion) that means maybe peace talks be completed by 11th March? Personally for the people of Ukraine and Russia I hope its sooner than that I really do

Why are poly restricted on the number they can short?
Didn't think about that not being able to open 1 to drive price down to rebuild as yes be market manipulation, wouldn't it?

Granted though Blackrock does it on some of there's don't they? I dont know the rules re shorting so was just wondering legally if it could be done?

I don't Know where I can look for shorts and guess if poly have lent the shares to themselves . . . Actually do they need to register a short if theyve done that? Is there a register?
I know ages ago when another company I'm in was in a sale process they had to notify on 8.3s and 8.5s but when it came out of the sale process regardless of their shares they didn't need to notify.

I guess we'll just have to wait n see what Sng have to say. I will say though I'm slightly disappointed they thry haven't said anything about the share price or what our next plan is, or what's happening going forward. Oh well another 1 for the bottom draw, I'm starting to get a good pile of these :o( lol (gotta laugh or I might just cry doh)

Poly is a hedge fund right? Curious as they maybe down a substantial amount what's to stop them from shorting this, (its now dropped the 35%), then rebuying the shares low 16s/17s to then allow the increase to make money back that way? Is this possible? (I don't know anything about shorting so just wondering)

My 6k investment is now about 500 quid so I'm staying put anyway not worth pulling out.

Been reading this board the last couple of days and I am invested.

I am shocked and disgusted at what is going on in Ukraine and would never wish that on anyone, an I hope to god for a peaceful resolution.

However I am also disgusted at the chat on here regarding people's losses - not everyone bought in at a penny, not everyone ramped the share, not everyone 'knew' this would happen.

Where is your compassion for the people that may have bought in, in the 30s after researching and thinking it was a good investment choice?
Where is your compassion for the people that maybe down thousands or even tens of thousands because they wanted to try and build a better life for themselves and their families.

Shame on all of you taking pleasure in other people's misery.

Not only using the people of Ukraine and russias misery because of 1 man but also using it as a weapon of words as well against a company.

People that take pleasure in others bad situations are the worst and doesn't fill me with great hope for humanity.

For all those that are under water I hope you may recoup some of your hard earned money.

For those gloating individuals- if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.

I'm not happy about the share price I'm in at 34 and down a hefty amount with over 130k shares in the sipp. The small positive is that all the metal prices are up :o).

I am wondering If I've read it right that Russia have only banned domestic flights until 3.3.22. . .

The other pt of me being a little bit conspiracy theoryis that if putin and all govs are financially screwed (this is way out there so bare with me) any possibility they all topped up on gold etc etc and gave putin the nod to scare the markets - metals go up govs sell into it. They all go back to normal putin gets nato to stay out of Ukraine, hopefully no lives lost and he keeps the 2 regions ??? Or he goes for full take over of Ukraine which if the people there don't want him too I hope he doesn't.

I tried buying this morning in the 14s and couldn't get a quote and although results still due and I could average down a little, I'm less inclined to do so as not sure on their next moves, still have active 2 and copd an asthma and could just be OK but I'm not convinced enough to average down I don't think . . . . I'll probably regret that in 6 months but hey ho :o)
