Why oh why are you not contacting the company directly? No one on here will be able to give you the information you desire. It's all opinions

Contact the bod, for that matter contact the UK gov and see what else is happening within Russia, contact putin if you want

But honestly posting the questions etc on here will not get you what you are looking for.

Invest / Dont invest. Under water sell/don't sell and wait it out. If your any good at trading do that.

I've got images in my head of what I think you guys look like, hopefully not long and we'll have our south west meet up :o).

Forgive me if I'm being a little thick here as I don't know how shorting works but surely at some point the shorts need to close.

Are they therefore on borrowed time for shorting and will have to close out in the next few days? Or are they allowed just to continually run? If they have a cost to borrow etc will thry % do they need to look at how many they've borrowed to then go ok I'll need to buy 35 mill or whatever it is when they want to close out?

Or xan thry just keep slowly reducing it? Do thry put a price on where it needs to get too for them to close it ? Or does it not work like that?

Just curious as in theory they've got to buy them back st some point?

Those results look amazing, hmmm I wonder whether the mms knew and thats why the price was rising Friday into close? Fingers crossed will continue the rise on Tuesday. Wonder what it'll get too considering think tilly said there's 32+ million shorts still to close, could we be in for a little run. . . . :o)

Ee the lab - if memory serves (an it may not) I think there were various whispers as to whether it would be a placing but would be put to shareholders for approval first, whether be fundraise via outside means, adding more shares to the company, but hey if things come off with the USA and move quickly there maybe no need for either of those anyway :o)

Granted I might have it completely wrong that may have just been us chatting on here as to how they'd go about it- sort of all merges when your just sitting on your hands :o)

I have over 220k shares in sipp at average of 29.9 (yep bought on the spike to 37 averaged down as much as I could)

Have in my shares account just over 60k shares at average 18.8

So if it hits a quid my hubby may forgive me lol

So looking through the rns's this morning an I see GSK just picked up an oncology company for 1.2b,
Not really relevant but it gives us an idea of what acquisitions are taking place and the fact that big pharma are spending in this department.

Not saying val would necessarily get taken over for that price but money is out there and who knows could little old val end up being in the same league . . . Would be an awesome dream, :o)

Ice- HL unless thryve changed it back again they Don do the bed n isa anymore, and if I've understood correctly (may not be the case) I've got to sell and then wait 2 days to trans to the isa and then re buy . . . Now the question is do I risk it. . . Nope think going to gave to stay in my funds acct :o( but who cares at least I'll still be in ??

RB - I agree with you, wish I had that kind of fire power 50k sells at 34.20 and buy back 30 makes about a 2k profit per trade doh.

Granted if they buy back more shares with that profit happy days :o)

Not really jinky58 - it's risen 70% from the low on 23.3.22 @20.30 to 34.20 in 9 days.

Spiros- I did a dummy buy and it was 30.4 (with hl)
Sell price is 30, initially couldn't get a sell price so it is definitely (imo) traders taking it back down

30.249 @5550 shares and 30.25 are buys imo
