Last rns stated 'As announced on 2 November 2021, ValiRx entered into a non-binding Letter of Intent ("LOI") with TheoremRx for the sub-license of VAL201. The LOI has been re-executed with an exclusivity period expiring before the end of June 2022.'

From this (maybe naively) I have in my own mind that the long stop date is end of June? Or have I missed something?

There's still approximately another 6 wks till the last day of June. . . . .

Well I wasn't expecting the suspension I wont lie, however in my opinion its not necessarily a bad thing. it stops the volatility, the funds from exiting and making the price fall, when the funds themselves are basically responsible for the decline in mcap (and the mad one of course).

My thoughts only are that they have suspended pending the possible sale announcement as I'm sure I remember that once most sold we then become technically a cash shell as 70% of our business would be gone

If we are suspended for a while for example 6 months ( not that you want it to take that long BUT if it is that) I'm sure that didn't the russian general say something about the height of the war being done by august and then expected to be over by the end ofthe year? this would tie in quite well for the rerate in sp. However obviously the sale or dividend rns could come that would be lovely too.
I dont know re kiras view on delisting in all honesty that doesn't make sense to me, plus the bod would lose all their shares too ? doesn't seem feasible.
I'll be honest I'm hoping for sale rns / divi rns for above 34p (yep average in the sipp) and eua 2 to go.
A suspension for any other reason doesn't make sense as poly, an pog still trading. If it was to do directly with the conflict and LSE / Gov interference in trading they would also be suspended wouldn't they? this brings me back to the sale/divi probability?

Traders were trading then, wonder if they take the profit or if they keep the shares to increase their holding. Which in a way if their doing that and keeping the shares they make on the swings that's sort of good. Not for my pf but maybe shares are going to sticky hands or not . . . Hmmm

Basterman- I understand what your saying, however if you look at it from another point of view, does it look bad on them if say by the end 9f June they've raises for arguments sake 500million and then pay val there fees and again for arguments sake 10 million, 20 / 30?
It looks bad at the moment as we Don know what going on behind the scenes yes it could be bad, but also on the flip side it could be amazing.

We just don't know and that's at ghe moment is the only real problem
