I held on but I think the time has come to take some profit. But be assured this is a good share to have. Am I the only one who has noticed?

AVCT for a few months now, expecting an upwards SP, but it just doesn't happen. Very tempted by the SP, but with 1.15 billion shares on the market, that sounds about right. Wondering if this could be another ICX. Good products in the pipeline, but liable to run short of cash before they get to fruition. Although with AVCT's agressive aquisition policy, that doesn't seem likely. The long term graphs suggest the bottom must have been reached, so is it time to get on board and wait, and wait, and wait....

Back in profit at last - now for some steady long term gains !

...views on Mike McTighe anybody? I only know of him from Cable and Wireless, where he wasn't a huge success. I am a bit worried by the recent announcement, echo's of another of my current dogs - CSLT - hope it's not another RI or OO !

.. is the SP not flying? Strong order book, good reporting and lots of PFI work. All good, but SP refuses to move North. Meanwhile very dodgy TW do well ! What a world.

Look at the debt problems and the fact that the banks are re-examining the debt covenants. Make no mistake, WHY still has the problems it had 4 months ago. The SP price hike was short lived and was mainly due to a very good ramping effort. Lots of money was made, but the basics never changed. DYOR as to why the SP fell in the first place and you will see why this is a big gamble. At the moment there are many better places to risk your wedge. Good returns in WHY will be a long time coming and the risk far outweighs the pot of gold - IMHO.

Hope you took the 15%. Troubled times for GLI. Mounting debt and financial irregularities are bringing the SP down again and don't forget that this is GLI's 'off season'. They are currently de-staffing and moving production to cut costs, so things should improve, but I can't see any big move north for a while yet. Still a good prospect, and when the party season takes off, sales should improve, along with the SP.

Good news at last, let's hope the SP reflects it !

Those 4 are only my SIPP. My big wedge is stuck in CSLT, FLTR, LAM and IOG. None of which are doing brilliantly at the moment - but they will come good long term.

could be a problem for GLI. I wouldn't be surprised if they started consolidating production in fewer units and reduced staffing levels.. The luxury snack market is under pressure from the majors at the moment and profits must be hurting. A good management team are in place and IMO they will be looking to save the pennies in the coming months. Should come good later in the year.

it's holding in a falling market, so bodes well for any pickup in the FTSE.

.. the 57p is now in the bank, so why are these not reaching that level? Are folk waiting until nearer the change over date?

I'm debating whether to sell my FLTR and top up at 52p, would be a very good drink then !
