Pretty quiet weekend really. Mainly focussed on the F1 decider, fair result and probably the best GP of the season. Bad day for Williams ( I do some work for them) though, I felt real sadness for Frank.
BAe will be OK. They're always my 'safe haven' if I'm not able to watch things. They may fall, but usually bounce back. I'm sure we'll see 340p this week, but they go XD on Wednesday, so I'll hold out for the 6.4p per share I think.
CSLT are getting very annoying now. I have a large holding there which is tied up doing nothing and I'm seriously considering selling at a loss, just to free up funds. I'd be doing the rest of you a favour at least as usually, when I sell a share, it immediately takes off ! Gosh, If I'd had that money in PYM !
Did some research on two at the weekend.
TAN - one of my long term watchers. Not the time to buy just yet, but once the commercial vehicle (Van) market picks up they will be a surefire buy. Low price at the moment, but will be a long hold until profits start to flow.
PLE - Yet another small pharma. Got some good products in the pipeline and is developing drugs that are much needed, especially by the older generation (which is increasing). Take a look at the website and it will give a good insight into the products. The attraction is that PLE develop drugs and then either sell them on or license them to large pharma's, like Roche for example. I'm watching for a good buying opportunity.
Well, must get some work done. Speak late
