Must admit I've got quite used to lie-ins and lazy breakfasts, wish I could afford to retire! Lots of new buyers at Cosalt, including my eldest Son, who rang me last night with a 'Great Tip'. "Certain to recover and will double in price..." yeah, you guessed it, Cosalt. He was a bit down when I told him I'd been in for almost a year. However, it shows that it is on the radar now, so should show a gain up to the results. I'm actually showing a profit of 2K on them, but will hold now. As you say, there is more than a few pennies there.

Sadly, haven't got the liquidity at the moment to play with the Russians. Tied into CSLT, DOO, HDY and AKT at the moment and looking to increase CSLT and AKT when possible. I usually like to keep a back up fund for my small pharma's as they can sometimes wake up from their slumbers and surpise us (as PYM!) but with my tax bill to pay and the house improvements (plus a megga expensive Christmas!), I'm short on spare cash at the moment. Plus, with the weather as it is, I'm not even earning from the day job. I've got a great list of prospects, researched over the break, but am unable to do anything about them, very frustrating. Oh look, Cosalt have had a reshuffle on the board - that's why SP is up

What happened with MWA ? Last time I looked they were on the way up. BAe and Balfour are going well, are you still in there?

Hi Guys, Oh well, back to the real world. CSLT are moving at last, just been offered 9.16p for 250,000 in one sale, first time in weeks I could sell that many at once. Looks like there are buyers coming in now. As I said before, this is almost a Blue Chip at penny share prices. I'm topping up when I can. However... AKT are a real bargain at the moment. Still a bit risky, but I bough last week at just under 15p. When the appeal is heard, I'm convinced that Cerepro will be approved and SP will be up past 35p again, possibly up to 50p. Have a look and of course, decide for yourselves, but I will be swopping my D1 soon and AKT will take a big part of the proceeds.

.. on the Board's statement, basically telling Bryan Myerson & Capital to B*gger Off ! But what do their plans for the future mean? How are they going to add any value for shareholders?

Cor, you and your oilers ! Decorating done, bathroom done and off to Bournemouth for Christmas with the in-laws ! ARK was a bit of a shock, but I see it as a good buying window, oversold certainly, but still a risk. If the decision is reversed, as I think it will be, they should regain all the losses and more. I had actually got out before the drop to fund the bathroom, so didn't lose out, but will be back in when funds become available. I averaged down on DOO and topped up a small amount at HDY, they were so low I couldn't resist. Hopefully the worst has passed now, and the news of another gas find today has given them a bit of a boost. Well, that's it for this year. I'm turning the PC off tonight and will not turn it back on again until January. I refuse to let these things spoil my Christmas. I'm sure next year will be a better one for all our holdings, especially Cosalt. Have a nice break and don't worry about HAWK, CHAR & MWA, they will come good. Thanks for the excellent posts, they certainly give food for thought. Personally I would back Bryan Myerson as he seeems to have a better take on the direction for the company, whereas the current board seem unsure as to what the company actually is, grower, developer, refiner or retailer. I think they need to look at where the best added value for the SH's will come from. Certainly not a quick in / out now that's for sure.

Hi James, Very quiet at the moment. Busy decorating this week, having been let down by the 'professional'. Not my favourite task, but it has to be done. Cosalt looking better with the two Rail contracts last week, was there any mention in the weekend press? Strange how SP was down today with almost another .5 mill buys. I think people are waking up to what bargain it is. Almost Blue Chip at Penny Share price. DOO is looking at a possible hostile TO, so it's getting a bit interesting, not much change in the SP though. Not had a lot of time to follow things today, just popping in every now and then. What's your take on the Bryan Myerson situation? Do you see a conflicy of interests ?

Sorry for the cr*p cut and paste on the last post, but the giste is that this is a BIG market. Is it possible DOO might be in the sights as a possible feedstock supplier to Mission. Or even a T/O target ?

Just to add a bit Mission NewEnergy Limited (ASX:MBT) (“Mission”) a biodiesel refiner and one of the world’s largest Jatropha plantation companies by acreageannounced that it has entered into a binding five-year biodiesel Supply Agreement with Valero Marketing and Supply Company, a subsidiary of Valero Energy Corporation (NYSE: VLO) (“Valero”), a fortune 500 hundred company and the largest independent crude-oil refiner and marketer in North America. The agreement further provides a subsidiary of Valero the right to purchase up to 25% of Mission at A$0.45 per common share, representing a 61% premium to the current 30 day Volume Weighted Average Price. Mission's share price closed at A$0.33 on 8 December 2009. Under the terms of the supply agreement, Mission will supply Valero with upto 200,000 tonnes (60 million gallons) of biodiesel per year. Valero has the right to double that amount to 400,000 tonnes per year and to extend the term by an additional five years. The agreement represents gross revenue potential to Mission of over US$3.5 billion based on prevailing market prices, maximum volume and contract life. Over the course of the contract, Mission will supply Valero with biodiesel produced from its captive Jatropha feedstock. Jatropha is an in-edibleperennial oil seed plant that has been shown to grow on marginal soil without displacing agricultural land used for food supply, making it an ecologically responsible source of fuel oil. If you got in ANGM sub 5p I think you did OK. It might days, or a few weeks, but these will do well if all goes according to plan. Your HAWK holding is a fair old wedge, more than my CSLT. HAWK will come good eventually I'm sure, but it's taking it's time to turnaround, hmmm... that sounds familiar. I've been looking for any companies involved in Carbon Capture. This will be a big earner in a few years, but the only companies I have found are the big multis such as Toshiba, Alstom, Siemens etc. There is a huge amount being spent on research and Pilot Plants, but I'm not sure if there is money to be made for the small investor. One I have come across is RPS. They are a large, worldwide design / consultancy company whose main interest is in the safe management of resources, CO2 and industiral chemical waste. The website is well worth a visit and the SP having risen from 120p a year ago is down at 200p off a high of around 240p. Interesting one and worth a bit of serious looking at. Which I'll do over the weekend, hopefully.
