On the buy literally one sec buy was 55 then few millisecs later buy 58, but got in at 55.

I think it'll close at 61-62

Hargreaves Lansdowne is fine and rarely get buy/sell glitches.

They have the highest transaction charges c £12 but they are real-time, fast, easy, reliable, good data presentation and don't loan to those shorter types.

Transaction charges are irrelevant in major scheme of things - as it would be a bit like finding a pay packet in the gutter and then complaining about the tax you'd had deducted.

Then understand that nothings materially changed, you inner chimp has just reacted to in-build loss bias. This comes from our hunter/gatherer DNA where missing a kill is matter life of or death .

Studies in Chicago, Cambridge, Instead have shown that we react 2-3 times more negatively to a loss than the positivity of a similar size gain. That's our in-built loss Aversion bias chimp ruling our behaviour. If you know that you can tame it

Later today or in next few days when it's returned to c 70, you can learn hopefully from what has happened and train your inner dissing chimp voice to not get knickers in a twist when it inevitably happens again at 80, 90 or 100 etc, ceteris paribus !

Tim, I don't engage in ad hominem, but that is spectacularly sub-optimal thinking ! You did this (seeling on fear) the first time the share price went from 30p to 24p for a few minutes, just after i said I'd bought at 25p.

By 3-4pm I suspect you'll have to buy own stock back at 15% 'fear fine', when you've stopped hyperventilating! I wish you well though I was a bit like that in 1987 crash - wised up a smidge since. Now at just 4.64% as hit send.

Just waited for 16% (last 3 biggish day drops maxed at 16% as I alluded to yesterday). The Empire will strike back 💹

For anyone bemoaning this sticky patch '70' i.e. 68-72 at mo, it's worth remembering that a while back for many weeks it had a good old waiver around 10p fluctuating from 8-12p for literally yonks of time.

And very recently a sticky month of fluctuations :

Mid June 30-25p- 16% drop

End June 30-25p -16% drop

Mid July 30-25p - 16% drop.

Despite that a 3.5% daily aggregate gain was achieved over 4 months.

Big Picture Zoom Out, and the volatility/length of last few days/week is nowhere near as big as these prior examples.

Personally, I think the MRE has been in some respect been baked-in already, as the hitherto test results were so positive a few weeks ago.

In fact I see parallels with the Small Modular Reactors announcement on RR... where some thought {there was a poll} a 20-25% rise likely - but actually it was a rise of less than 2%, as turns out it was, in essence, baked-in).

I thefore don't fixate about MRE.

Empire has many more/other interesting milestones to focus on that will incrementally in chunks be positive, and controllable, in eliciting further progress.

Quite pleased with the day - all about bijou incremental gains and 2.5-3% is almost in line with May-Sept '7 bag' territory.

Feel a bit bad. I've slowly sold all my RR stock which at one point was quite substantial and I like many others did well out of it, but i's just done 1% growth this month and wind out of sails. Do feel I'm abandoning a loyal pet though, which is odd feeling.

It's nearly all gone on EEE (and a few other arrivistes), as it just has brilliant potential and great mgmt/comms/low extract ratio and just fires me up/stokes the fire, which is partly/mostly why I invest now✨

Can you advise your short transactions please jane, if you are 'about making money like all of us' you must have shorted.
