apothemia* is a big cognitive bias that one has to keep keep an eye on.
we do it usually following positive outcomes and can also be linked to a touch of the caesar complex (thinking we achieved everything by our skill, not luck or mere fortunate happenstance).
this share at mo might be considered a case in hand. there will be a physiological bias when looking at say, your h and l dashboard, and seeing its % gains compared to others, to nudge up holding and risk profile with a bit of unchecked *** abandon if you don't recognise the bias pull.
i don't see anything today (based on no discerning news) that's forming, but pleased it's consolidating c 29ish this afternoon though. crossing 30 (a false but phycological bar) might take a few days as buyers think in round numbers and why we'd try to sell our house at £989,000 not £1,017,000
* seeing patterns where there are not any - eg if you buy a green car take, name your 🐕 unusually, go to an unusual place you'll suddenly see it significantly more than you hitherto did and adapt a bias relating it to you.... this is often what gamblers see as a sign to do something of course it's usually v bad outcome).
