Note 31 states (as below) that the deferred tax asset is now £700k after disposing of Photonstar Technology Limited for £1. Think about it - BOU sold a deferred tax loss of £7.8m for £1. At the current Corporation Tax rate of 19% it was worth just under £1.5m. Seems to be a good deal for Antos.

In April 2019 a General Meeting approved the closure of Photonstar Technology Limited. The group then became an AIM quoted cash shell. In June 2019 Photonstar Technology Limited was sold for £1 to a related party in accordance with the resolution passed at the General Meeting in May 2019. As a result of this sale there are no further liabilities for the Group in respect of this subsidiary beyond the run-down and closure costs already provided for in these 2018 financial statements. Also, as a result of this sale the group's un-provided deferred tax asset arising on taxable losses (Note 16) will reduce from £8.5m to £0.7m.

I have posted a number of times that the Directors should spend a fixed percentage of their pay buying shares on the open market. A share I am interested in has a similar policy, as shown by the RNS from Oxford Biomedica today:

'Under the market share purchase agreement, one-third of Dr. Tallarigo's fees as Chairman, after tax, are to be used to purchase ordinary shares in Oxford Biomedica plc on a monthly basis at the prevailing market price.'

It would be good to see such a policy put in place for Valirx's directors.

Well, the BOD seem to be pointing a metaphorical insolvency shotgun squarely at shareholders. Either you approve further dilution or it is game over.

Will they take a pay cut? Will they explain how the salaries and bonuses are calculated? Will they invest in the company that they run? Will anybody take responsibility for the financing deal and the penalties that they seem to have agreed? Will the auditors be held responsible for signing off the accounts when VAL had announced that they were trying to renegotiate the financing deal? Will the NOMAD be held responsible for allowing the RNS to be issued stating that the entire financing deal is being cancelled despite VAL having received the first tranche of funds and EHGO having sold the first tranche of shares?

When was the last time you saw a biotech company's share price drop when they announce new Patent protection?

Maybe I am a bit negative - any answers on the questions posed above that may entice me to invest again?

A RNS the day before the AGM to placate shareholders.

So - she believes. Does her belief trigger another bonus?

For what it is worth, I believe the earth is flat and the moon is made from cheese that is farmed by Martians.

So VAL are paying to £212.5k after 'conditionally agreed the termination of the entire Subscription Agreement with the European High Growth Opportunities'.

But EHGO have already sold the shares that they were issued in the first tranche and VAL have not announced that they are refunding the monies received from EHGO for the first tranche.

So how are they terminating the entire Subscription Agreement? And, how did they get the NOMAD to sign off on the RNS.

This stinks more than an ungutted fish left in the sun on a hot summers day.

As are the Saudis and Martians.

Might also be LIDL as they like to advertise that they sell British grown produce - they may want to power their vehicles with British Oil as a marketing stunt.

Buying 500401 shares will trigger a logarithm - I recommend checking over and under half a million shares and then using multiple accounts to make purchases.

0.23*500401/100 = £1151

I cannot speak for Roses or January but I have found out, at my cost in the past, that timing buys and sells on shares in companies that are cash flow negative is essential.

Sometimes I see news on a share like this that I deem to be positive and try and ride the news with a little money to try and make a little more money. With shares, such as VAL, that are predominantly held by private investors, I use fundamentals and sentiment analysis.

Valirx is on a watch list of mine... but some of the oversold Woodford shares may offer me an opportunity sooner than Valirx.

Nothing is odd to me.

I think that Roses has more credibility than you Uncanny.

Roses is a voice of reality; you are a dreamer who seems to have been burnt on this investment despite your topping up.

Nonetheless, I hope that this works out for all who have put hard earned money into this share even though I remain very sceptical.

The question is are you considering over-valued shares that are starting to get to realistic valuations or actual bargains? Brexit is dropping the value of the £ and making over valued AIM shares take a reality check as funding sources dry up even though we are in an environment of low interest rates and persistently low inflation.

My managed funds (mainly Pictet) and my consumer blue-chips are doing well - but their earnings are from a basket of currencies. I am up, on average, 7% on the Pictet funds bought 2 months ago and a bit more on the additional money put into the consumer blue-chips.

These are liquid investments with tiny spreads which make it easy to take a contrarian view and bank profits if I forsee the value of the £ improving.

I like not having to work despite being too young to collect my Civil Service pension.

The more pressing problem is the declining share price whilst the Woodford saga unravels. The real spread today was 4.31 v 4.33 and the last large-ish sale had to accept 4.25p. The Market Makers do not want the shares at the moment and the share price keeps dropping as there is currently little demand from private investors or any sign of an Institutional Investor wanting Woodford's shares.

There may well be bargains to be had here soon - timing buys and sells on companies that do not have positive cash flows is a dark art.
