I did read the RNS - it just confirms that they have now 'filed the Technical Report' with Setúbal District. More importantly, the Preliminary Economic Assessment is to be published before the year end. They are also continuing with the drilling programme which is likely to significantly increase the estimated resources.

MAFL are a long term Zinc / Copper play and there have been advances on Zn–Mn batteries suggesting a costs of 3% of a Li battery so Zn may have a very rosy future.

It is the aluminium smelters in Richards Bay that have bought long term power contracts that Eskom is still fulfilling that are causing the problems.

You seem not to understand the power generation market in Southern Africa. There are smelters that are fed by priority three phase supply provided at grid scale. The deterioration of Eskom's reliability and the degradation of the transmission network is causing those without long term electricity contracts to put off investment. The Cahora Bassa Dam has been an unreliable partner having been part of the smelter programme.

Please remember I know nothing and am a blind deaf mute so any opinion I have about anything should be taken with a heap of salt that you have kept aside for gritting.

Mining in Southern Africa not looking that good either with the Eskom electricity problems and the drought causing the failure of some hydro power plants - it makes me wonder why some are speculating on Zimbabwean mining companies when electricity supplies are unreliable in the region.
