I am not a fan of politicians - they are mostly 'in it for themselves' and have an unreasonable sense of self-worth but I have been pleasantly surprised by Raab so far - he may have stuttered on the first few public occasions but has seemed on top of his brief in the daily press conferences since then.

Whilst I do not think that the government has been competent in their handling of Covid-2019 to date, at least he can argue his position in a coherent and consistent manner. There is some 12/1 about him being the next PM on Betfair at the moment - Boris is likely to suffer from PICS [post intensive care syndrome] so a fair bet in my opinion [but I am still refraining from gambling].

Boris lost the first war against Covid-19 (some say he rolled over like Chamberlain); after 'valiantly' nearly dying for Queen and Country he is going to lose again by opening the Country up again in the mistaken belief of herd immunity (even though the WHO says there is no proof of herd immunity yet).

Interesting article - the market for CAR-T therapy may be expanding in the US; can only be of benefit to Scancell and others seeking funding to advance their science as the bigger the market, the larger the potential profits.

4 million hectares of sugar cane are farmed in Brazil for Ethanol production - the price of Ethanol has dropped by 50% because of the impact of Covid-19 on oil prices. Not sure if I would want exposure to Ethanol or Sugar (or Brazil for that matter as it lurches towards Dictatorship again) at the moment.

All a bit of a shame as I was hoping for an upturn in Plant Health Care's future; I will have to wait and trade it in Autumn around when the interims come out.

Troajan, I do not know the Company but a quick look at their website suggests to me that they are at risk of being overtaken by a data manipulation company. I think I have posted about ProteinQure - they are one of a number of companies (other than Google) who are using maths to design new approaches to diseases.

You misunderstand my post - UKOG has dropped by 97% since you posted:

Why should anybody take any notice of your ramptastic posts now? UKOG's share price would have to go up by 1400% to get back to 4.5p - anyone who took notice of your post then would not be happy now. Show some humility and admit you got it wrong back in 2017.

The share price was 4.5p then.

Many would welcome a quarterly investor update by conference call - no need for travel. Even a half-yearly update, timed to coincide with the release of the accounts would be welcomed by Shareholders.

A Q&A section on the Website could also be useful but the lack of answers to questions that could impact any negotiations might annoy some.

'Why the delay?' - money; who is going to pay? Scancell already need more funds for their main programmes so will need a shed load more for a Covid-19 vaccine.

At least the rise in share price will make a placing more acceptable.

Anybody who has held from the 10p highs to today whilst still believing that the 'Gusher' is of 'National Significance' might qualify for the deluded badge of honour.
