If there is nothing to ramp just post any old news and pretend it is new news; maybe some will fall for the nonsense and help sustain the share price by buying a few million shares and making positive comments.

When it gets bleak it can be expected that someone will ramp the 'tax-asset' that the accumulated losses represent as though it is some part of a master plan worked out by Lord SS.

Even the subconscious is worried about a placing. Some think it is coming soon, that it will be many millions and that not enough hype will be generated by rampers to increase the share price in the build up to the next planning decision to prevent a significant discount being required.

Maybe someone should start a 'Guess the placing price, amount and date' game - the price games tend to show whose opinions are realistic, too optimistic or too pessimistic.

I know people are getting impatient but this is evidently not an investment for the impatient despite the improvement that is expected to be announced in the next NAV update, mainly because of the improvement in the price of gold.

Something that seems to have been overlooked is that the President of Redcorp (the JV for LS with Ascendant) [Mr. Joao Barros] was appointed President of Ascendant Portugal in April after Ascendant disposed of the El Mochito mine. A month later Ascendant appointed Mr. Rui Botica Santos to their main board of Directors. Mr. Santos was involved as a legal advisor in the privatisation of the Neves-Corvo mine.

Progress on LS may be slow but Ascendant are still trying to progress it and have respected Portuguese staff on board.

Discretion is the better part of valour... who knows who reads what and why.

Has the Planning Statement said over how many days these flow rates were observed for? Flowing at an equivalent rate for a short period of time often makes the extrapolated daily figure meaningless.

Total Produce interims tomorrow. £360m m/cap and an 18% spread with the danger of Brexit looming. Will be interesting reading, might disappoint the market and start a slow decline in share price.

I will be watching as I am expecting a trade opportunity before final results are released early next year. The dividend yield is too low but if the share price halves...
