The $ is at a 2 and a half year low against most currencies; that it is only at an intra year low against the £ shows just how battered the £ is as well. At least we have a "genius" called Gove leading the Brexit negotiations.

Yup - good for many emerging markets and some South Asian countries where they have dollar denominated debt. And economic theory says emerging markets will be favoured when the world economy starts to recover and people are prepared to take more investment risks.

Wait till the Chinese and others start dumping the $; US interest rates will have to go up making borrowing more expensive on top of imports becoming more expensive through the dollar devaluation. Not good for the US economy.

I noticed that but there has been no TR1 explaining the buys / sells yet. I am keeping a beady eye; it was 33p to buy after just £10k worth of buys at 08h30 and it is 34p to sell now so it looks more like a few made 3% on buys whilst the market makers have a laugh selling off some stock.

It is normally a by-product of copper and nickel mining. Mainly from DRC and Zambia copper deposits but China and corruption seem to have those markets. And, if / when they work out how to make lithium batteries without Cobalt that market will disappear?
