It is just Vanguard who will not let you buy shares in an ISA as far as I am aware; and only their Funds. It is the 'catch' for using them to get the lowest annual charges. No broker offers a free lunch...

BT were a buy in November when the takeover rumours came out - got a bit rich now at 152p.

I am thinking of buying some SEIT as the 5% yield looks solid and there is a small growth factor.

The J&J vaccine will be better at dealing with variants by virtue of being an inactivated vaccine - it educates the immune system to all the virus peptides, not just those associated with the spike protein. Or at least that is my understanding...

Vanguard only let you buy their funds [I prefer Pictet thematic funds] in their Stocks and Shares ISA and seem not to allow you to buy shares at all in an ISA wrapper, so no good for me.

I am going to open a new Stocks and Shares ISA this week - Money Savings Expert says the cheapest are Vanguard and AJ Bell.

Anybody use them? How competitive are their share prices? Vanguard are the cheapest at 0.15% annual charge but you can only use them to invest in their own funds; AJ Bell charge the same (0.4% a year) as Best Invest.

Nomura says they will not go bust - when you have to issue a statement like that it is a BIG problem...
