TAIPEI -- Taiwanese authorities on Wednesday decided to suspend water supplies for two days a week in some cities, including at some science parks -- the heart of the island's tech supply chain -- from early April as the worst drought in 56 years grows even more severe.

If you have gone and bought some UKOG shares you might get a free haircut soon; they need funds to keep growing their losses so a discounted placing may be on the way; or even worse, death spiral financing. At least death spiral financing means you may be scalped so may never need a haircut again [postalot optimism].

Are you joining the Rampers? What about the costs to dispose of the water? ANGS have put water disposal costs at £49 a barrel in an Investor presentation. That is more than the current price of Oil.

I do not have the water production figures at hand but UKOG will be making little, if any, operating profit after disposing the water.

Are you expecting the next placing to be at a premium? As UKOG have a history of undertaking placings at a discount which drives the share price down a premium placing would be welcomed by Investors; a discounted placing would more likely drive the price down and this the value of existing shareholders down, at least in the short term.

For once, I agree with Mullins58 - it is good to be reminded that only initial funding has been raised; UKOG have at least warned that more will be required.

If this RNS is followed by a placing before the end of next week you might feel that the news was simply released to stimulate demand for shares that need flipping.

If SS was to actually buy some shares, the term 'watershed moment' might be applicable. Both he and the Nomad will be aware how much sentiment would be improved by him taking part in a placing, or, even better, buying on the open market.
