I do not trust Blair; the mistrust is even higher than Boris. Boris might stumble into a war; Blair seems to have lied his way in.

It is milder and is not getting into the lungs and causing a cytokine storm. But, it is more contagious so if too many people get infected at the same time there is the potential to overwhelm the health service. And at this stage nobody knows if infection with the variant will result in long covid or how it will mutate in immunocompromised people.

On a lighter note, the virologists I listen to are still very unhappy with the idea of boosters being required. Their take is that the original vaccine works against all variants to date in that it stops serious infection and death in most. If Boris had not been running the NHS so hot then there should have been little need to lock down now as there would have been surge capacity and [more importantly] small steps being taken like masks on public transport and better ventilation in schools would have helped dampen the Omicron surge.

Yup- it is why highlighting the valuation basis seemed worthwhile. It is a very conservative basis to take for a company that is based in a tax haven [so would face no tax liabilities if they recognised some gains]. But, they have no need to ramp figures as they are unlikely to be doing any placings any time soon. There are few, if any, other AIM mining / mineral companies that do not seek to raise funds.
