The people they are trying to raise funds off have plenty of dosh and at the moment keeping cash in the bank just loses money in real terms and keeping money in regular shares in a bear market during high inflation is not going to help either. Raising from those investors should be just as easy as it was last year and the year before if they believe in the project being presented to them.

Matt Ferrell is an interesting YouTuber. He has just released a video about Zinc Bromide batteries and a company pushing them [Gelion]. Listed on AIM under the ticker GELN late last year at 175p. Spiked to nearly £3 and now down to £1.

On one of my watch lists, but unsure if it is worth the current m/cap of £100m. The batteries will probably work very well for a home solar system, as they have great thermal stability and can be recharged thousands of times. The batteries are about to start a grid scale test in Spain with Acciona Energias [m/cap over £10 billion].

Thanks for adding the link - Matt Ferrell is a wise YouTuber. This is an interesting company, but judging how much it is worth is another question. The batteries [with their thermal stability] seem to be a useful option for home energy storage, as the extra size and weight compared to a Powerwall or similar is insignificant.

The slides referenced below show an expectation of a $1m target in 2023 for a PREtec product as a foliar treatment for potatoes in the UK market. No dates given for when they expect to submit the product for registration or expected approval but it is the first time I have seen a number put on initial sales into the UK market [page 11].

Clearly this is an ability that some long term rampers do not have... such as those posters who have been bullish and posting with a Buy opinion (or, even worse, a Strong Buy opinion) since the share price was hundreds, or thousands, of a percent higher.

Their mealy-mouthed words fool few these days.

'contempt for long term holders.' is certainly a trait of a swing trader who tries to push news or photos of tankers to further his or her trading position.
