Yes; the same socket that is on the wall will be on the back of the router [which may be replaced if it is old and is not compatible].

Mine was recently changed... BT sent a new router and the phone plugged into the router instead of the phone socket on the wall. If the Net goes down, the phone will no longer work. There has been no degradation of quality that was associated with digital phones when they were first introduced nearly 20 years ago when I worked for GOV.

The Conservative Party threatens us with legal action if we do. It claims the response is “confidential” and “the intellectual property of the Conservative Party” and that for us to publish would be “an infringement of copyright”.

WTF! They are claiming copyright over a lawyers letter. What happened to 'integrity, professionalism and accountability at every level'.

I was having a look to see if there was any exposure to El Salvador - unfortunately it seems as though there is none. Gold mining is likely to be restarted there soon after the elections (tomorrow) that should see the 'Cool Dictator' re-elected.

Gold mining may be back there fairly soon. The "Cool Dictator" is breaking the Constitution and is expected to be re-elected in the elections tomorrow.
