I have been doing some research into a fund that has invested in Blue Earth Diagnostics. It is not a cure but a step forward in post treatment PET imaging.

Axumin allows the effective detection of recurrent tumours by using a synthetic amino acid which is injected into the patient and actively transported into the cancer cells to effectively ‘light up’ the site(s) of recurrence. Patients then undergo a sensitive PET (positron emission tomography) scan which can visualise Axumin within the cancer cells, enabling the tumour to be located. Axumin is able to identify the location of the recurrent prostate cancer 40-85 per cent of the time, a significant improvement over the current conventional ‘standard of care’ imaging. This information from the Axumin scan allows the doctor to select the most appropriate treatment for each individual patient, offering them the best chance of a successful response to that treatment.

It depends on what side the fence you are sitting - either this has been a case of the BOD (and long suffering shareholders) over estimating what they think they have discovered or the BOD have been in a closed period whilst ongoing discussions continue (year after year).

You pay your penny (or 7p, 6p, 5p, 4p, 3p, 2p etc) and make your choice. Or you wait to buy in again as you believe a deeply discounted placing is on the horizon.

As I have ask many posters many times, if you have some research to back up your opinion you should share it; whether it is positive or negative.

But expect to be met with ridicule and filter bin threats by those who do not agree with you - it is part of the vitriol when placings weigh on investors minds.

It took balls of steel - I have some understanding of the science so was prepared to buy more than my normal investing rules dictate but was delighted to take back my metal [balls of steel] and cash in with a modest profit on today's rise.

I would never recommend averaging down but am grateful I to have have done so and been able to close all of my positions at a modest profit.

I might buy again in due course once I have re-assessed the situation but it will only be at my standard investment.

As previously stated, I wish all invested here good fortune - whilst I have faith I do not understand today's market reaction.

A realistic post - they are few and far between here. No doubt someone will recommend blocking you, or post about how satisfied they are seeing so many blocked messages.

You way remember my posting history on ITX - it is only by boxing with more exposure than I wanted that I have been able to walk away for now with a modest profit after initially buying at a similar price to you.

I look forward to seeing how this how this works out and trying to profitaly exploit the volatility.

I am a supporter of TRX but have become concerned about what price the next placing will happen at. Having been well rewarded from last years lows I have recently sold my last remaining shares as Woodford and Invesco et al will decide the price and it will only get lower as private investors sell whilst waiting for news.

I could be wrong but the lack of response to emails that I have sent to Investor Relations makes me sceptical about their concern for the current share price. I hope that funding clarity becomes clearer soon. I hope your investment choices serve you well.

I sold some shares in a company needing funding soon that I had done quite well out of as I felt that the expected placing will be at a significant discount (thanks Woodford & Invesco).

I considered adding to my MAFL shareholding but I have enough and shoved the proceeds into ITX on Tuesday. Today, for no discernable reason other than rampers, I was able to sell for a little over 60 percent profit.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner? Nice to see the little bit of blue here as well.

It can be useful to those who wanted an exit - I first invested at around 20p, bought significantly more in the open offer and then more at the lows on Tuesday. I am now out with a modest overall profit having been down 90 percent when the placement was announced, and count myself most fortunate.

The prospects seem good and I wish those who have bought in Today good fortune with their investments.

Never knock a profit on AIM - I have sold two thirds of what I purchased on Tuesday leaving the rest in at under a penny which brings my average to under the open offer price of 2p.

This may bring a few new eyes to this share today / over the weekend (provided the rise holds, and hopefully, continues to rise).
