My my, on here at around midnight and back on at seven thirty on a Sunday morning. With that much determination to silence anyone who mentions risks, you look to me like a professional ramper. Do you get overtime rates for working on the weekend? I came across that article, that's why I was on here on a weekend.

Professional rampers get paid for keeping up with all the information surrounding the company, the country, the region, the politics and so on, and they have colleagues in the boiler room to help out. Ordinary, genuine private investors like me don't have the time to spend studying everything.

I came across that article and posted it because it is relevant and I'm sure there will be other genuine private investors on here who find it useful to know.

This was in the part of the article that I omitted - "This is not an isolated case".

I made one post and had intended to leave it at that, but I was forced to respond to ridiculous replies - one even about the Amazon which was totally irrelevant.

Several people replied so I replied to them, and one of my posts was a correction to a typing error of mine and some were things I later decided to say, sort of ps posts, as you have just done twice.

Don't tell me how many times I may or may not post. If I had posted "Big rise soon" or "60p by July" dozens of times you wouldn't have attacked me for it.

By the way, if I haven't answered everyone, that is because I haven't had time to read all the posts since my last one. I just had a very brief skim over and looked at only two or three.

This is not my comment, I have copied this from another board where the talk is of extortionate taxes on miners in Zimbabwe - "And now the government wants at 26% free carry as well. No sane person or company will want to invest in Zimbabwe unless the government makes the economy more investment friendly."

When miners are making loads of money, governments want it. It's what they do.

I'll tell you what I did see in the Sept 2024 posts - other people warning of the political risks. One thread was "Nigerian politics in action". So it's not just me. others see the risk.

ACA happened. Ashanti happened. Fact.

I used the example of what happened to ACA - it all started with was a baseless claim for unpaid tax then an accusation of fraud that hammered the share price down so that it got picked up on the cheap.

Have you watched those few minutes in that documentary about Ashanti? Ashanti got picked up for next to nothing after skulduggery knocked the share price down. If that doesn't worry you then I've got a bridge to sell to you.

For those of you who don't know what happened to Ashanti, the richest gold mine in the world, see this BBC2 documentary from the 1980s - "The Mayfair Set Part 2, Entrepreneur Spelt S.P.I.V.".

At 33m 20s - the Ashanti gold mine, the 1968 plot - very much like happened to Acacia Mining, ACA. A crook stealing assets all over Africa, robbing and cheating people.

I'm glad you didn't take offence. I wasn't trying to cause offence to anyone but my blunt, straight-talking style often does get people going. My little quip about Leicester City was an attempt to keep it light-hearted, but I don't understand why you've mentioned Nigeria. Neither ACA or SHG had mines in Nigeria, so I think I am missing something in your posting.

Of course, I might being too gloomy. It may never happen.

It is as unlikely as, say, Leicester City wining nine nil.
