At 280,000 words, it is a long novel, but the ending is very exicting, so just like waiting for final results from FLX, the end is worth the wait.

If anyone is wondering about the name of the company - "Layer 8" - it must be based on the networking protocols that you all use everyday when you access the internet. TCP/IP is part of this story -

FK - in response to comments about the delay in the results and the silence from FLX, earlier today, the slimeball wrote this "Let's face it whatever happens, it doesn't reflect well on FK.".

He says that now, but a few weeks ago when we were saying that, he said that the delay didn't matter.

The slimball's own words prove him to be either a hypocrite or a liar - depending on what he meant by "followed" - a question that he will not answer.

Failure to answer legitimate questions, illogical and contradictory statements and hypocrisy or lies are all signs of bounders and rotters, and these low-life creatures are so shameless, they are not embarrassed when their skulduggery is pointed out.

A science-based mystery thriller packed with original sci-fi thought experiments and intriguing clues that are unlike the clues any other crime novel. The mystery is deep, the clues are cryptic and taxing, but not impossible to crack as there are enough pointers to give you a realistic chance of working it out before the end.

To anyone who does work it out before all is explained – well done, and for all others – I'm sure you will find the explanation very satisfactory. No wishy-washy, vague explanations. It is all plausible, believable and grounded.

Back to FLX - will I still be in good spirits after the results come out?

Coming down to Earth a little - if they had vastly exceeded targets, as I wished for in that earleir posting, I would have expected it to have prompted a trading update - from any other company that is, but with FLX, "silence is golden" seems to be their motto.

Am I being unfair? A while ago, didn't they get criticised for making too many announcements with some of them being deemed, by the critics, as too trivial?

Somehow, that post lost its first sentence. It was -

"Wishful thinking for the results."

FLX doesn't get 2,000 SolarWinds end customers, they get 10,000. See this extended extract - "The Company's immediate focus will therefore be to support those MSPs whose customers have an appetite to strengthen their current security posture. Internal estimates suggest that this equates to approximately 20% of the addressable market, or around 20,000 target end customers. As an illustration, if only 2000 end user customers take up this service at entry level pricing"

Those acqusitions, First Base and SecureStorm, pay off by bringing in even more revenue than expected.

Suppose everything does tunr out even better than expected.

What level might the share price reach?

A bit of waffle from me -

From last October, about the SolarWinds deal - "if only 2000 end user customers take up this service at entry level pricing, this would generate £400k revenue per month on the Threat Monitor SOC Services alone" - have they hit this target? Have they exceeded this target?

I'll be on the lookout to see if that "2000 end user customers" figure was reached. If they have not reached that number, I expect the sp to fall. How's that for genius thinking, but the big question is - how far will it fall.

From last November when they announced "The Subscription has raised gross proceeds of £4,155,000 at a price of 3 pence per share" -

"the proceeds of the Subscription will allow the Company to undertake certain incremental initiatives of both a capital and operational nature. This will assist the business to drive and accelerate incremental returns over future periods and these are now expected to be greater than those originally envisaged."

This sounds good - "expected to be greater than those originally envisaged" - will this year's results show that it has happened?

Also in this announcement -

They have a lot to live up to with all of their optimistic statements.
