Is it a sign of mentally and emotionally mature posters on this board. Normally expect to see plenty of posts continually questioning communications from the company, the SP, why isn't the rig moving etc. None of that. If it's still silent once that rig starts moving I will question my sanity.

I'm impressed that after all these years we are now making some significant progress. I also believe the financial management by TG and his team over the last three lean years, including renumeration cuts for that team, has been very well handled.

Lots for investors to look forward to. The added hydrogen aspect is a real bonus if, as seems to be the case, hydrogen is the next big thing in energy.

Getting the gut feeling this is really starting to wake up. It's been long enough.

You need to listen to that segment again if you can Haz. Carnarvon were happy to keep hold of it until a suitor met their expectations/terms. It's a huge positive that LP managed to negotiate a 50/50 split on what are exceptional terms considering what is on offer. I guess it helped having contacts within Carnarvon. They would have been happy to have kept 75% of Buffalo-10.

Delay. Pretty straightforward. This from Jadestones 18th August 'Guidance and Operations' update:

'........due to the late arrival of the Valaris 107 drilling rig and longer than expected drilling at the Montara H6 well causing a circa one month delay in the work programme;'

Meaning we get the rig a month later than the originally scheduled end of October.

Exactly as SGF managed to tell in between his gasps for oxygen.

@amin, either the transponders get switched off or marinetraffic occasionally cut the locations of vessels now and again to encourage those that want to see them to pay. The Valaris 107 has been off the map before.

For that to be confirmed by the Chairman they must know the Skua workovers are definitely now done and the rig will be released by Jadestone in the next few days.

Re your 4.35p-4.45p close funnily enough my sophisticated charting extends to Friday often being a good day and Tuesday usually being a down day, except of course for Tues this week when it was a good day for the SP (clearly my charting has its weaknesses!).

Thanks for that Holdem. I was hoping someone would put up the length of time it would take to get the rig ready once it had arrived on location. Not that its crucial but out of interest will Carnarvon have a 'jacket' over Buffalo-10? Trying to understand the procedure for future investments.

Jadestone got the rig a month late due to delays on the previous job to them. Probably accounts for the month we will have had to wait come the end November.
