Uk markets aren't overpriced imo like the us.I've heard the next crash could be due to brokerage firms, clearing firms and capital requirements being breached but who knows!Robinhood had to raise more in fresh equity from its backers than it has had invested in the last couple days.I guess that's the thing, you never know what the next crash will be.

I agree naked shorting should definitely be banned as retail could never short a company if we wanted to and didn't own the shares.How the @#@# is that physically possible!Shorting has a disproportiate effect on smaller cap companies too and then they find it hard to raise capital due to their mcap being pummelled unfairly.Double whammy.If it is done i think it should only be allowed on marketcaps in the tens\hundreds of billions at least like tesla.

You're right, most non-profitable tech solution companies aren't valued on traditional metrics.Hopefully the lse will attract more of the likes of prsm and ocado through loosening listing regs.We have thg now though and moonpig floated today!

Just getting upto date with mhc news.Amazing to see the ceo Penny and Lyn from Ygen putting in substantial amounts of their own money into this microcap and subcribing for placing shares.

Definitely beats most ceos and directors in many aim lifestyle companies for sure.

Don't know who Merica is but EIS is the inheritance tax avoidance scheme i believe by supporting small aim companies.

I wonder what the app will be like.Data processing and analysis is a growth area and can be really valuable obviously nowadays.A bit of well thought out R&D is never a bad choice of investment in the longer term.

Unless gamestoppers confused tiziana with tesla again i doubt it.It's a different type of trader who invested in gamestop, who ironically mostly could have been screwed with by the few more experienced ring leaders on the boards, who used an option technique softbank did last summer (which most retail wouldn't have had a clue about) to cause counterparties to have to hedge risk in the markets by buying the stock just like the hedge funds and shorters usually do.

Apparently from the tullow board you can get any shorted shares back your broker might have lent out without tellling you if you set a high limit sell order for your shareholdings.That could burn some of the small cfd shorters on here.
