They already made a profit with the 0.14% reduction. As said, it all depends when the started tto amass. They could very well have acquired big chunks in the 1-1.40 range or even higher, in which case their average could be 90-100p. It’s undeniable that’s getting hot under their feet. We’ll find out over the coming weeks I guess.

Nursesteve, it all depends how early they started to build the initial 0.5% , declared in April 24. If is was build up over a longer period of time of say 6 months , it is very well possible that they took out that position at an average around say 80p. Subsequent add-ons seem to be in the 40-50p region in Apr/May 24 for the remaining 0.3%. If those assumptions are correct, their total holding would be sitting at roughly 65-70p.
