It’s all the result of the disastrous re-financing last year whereby Heights receive their quarterly payment in either cash or shares. As the sp has lost 75% of it’s value since, is now costing 4 times more shares to repay them hence the staggering holding. At the current sp, their holdings increase by 1.5% every quarter. They are slowly offloading but the whole scenario keeps other sh’s in a limbo.

So Panmure are more influential than a handful of global Powerhouses such as Jefferies and Goldman? The need for powering data centres is increasing by the day so good times ahead. The rise over the past year has been so staggering that it is not surprising that people take their profits as soon as there are signs of a cooling down. Where will it stabilise?

Itsallamess, I have topped up on the way down and took my options in the last round so quite a decent amount invested. I am just surprised/disappointed that we have not had any update whatsoever over a prolonged period on how things are progressing and that is really frustrating. HCM is another burden that I saw coming and is now hanging as a dark cloud over the company. These guys are no saints and having a 25%+ stake in the company. You never know what these guys are up to and what they might do if there is no progress.

If he is working for the charity, he is likely to get paid and that they paid the hefty entrance fee, travel and expenses. If that’s not the case he’s a saint. Nothing to do with a shareholder going to science day though.

Next RNS will obviously be about holdings in company with HCM’s holding increased by 1.5%. We’d rather have an update on the trial-side of things. Still nothing since Oct 25. Let’s hope that the 9-months silent gestation delivers something tangible.

Agreed Prion. A more cynical approach would be that successful treatments or cures become an existential threat to charities, just like they can be for pharmaceutical companies.

So what you are implying is that the SGC-charity in question is hardly aware of what Avacta are doing. It could obviously be because the trials are taking place in the US albeit that the representative returned from ASCO but may have missed the Avacta session.

Now I am rather sceptical about cancer- and other charities for a reason:

1) My ex-wife’s family have a Huntington’s disease hereditary background but when there was a breakthrough in the UK last autumn, the french Huntington’s charity said they were unaware and did not make a mention on their website in the aftermath of the discovery.

2) I had prostate cancer myself 3 years ago and was (very) unimpressed by dismissive responses given by cancer charities in the UK. After my (ultimately successful) operation I was told by 2 of them that the side effects that I experienced “happened all the time” whilst in brochures they both talked about “occasional occurrence”.

For the above reasons I have admittedly a more sceptical opinion on these charities without questioning their good intentions.

That said, if your contact person is unaware of the Avacta trials that is worrying from a PR point of view.

My question came from the fact that you wrote that you prefer to sell 6000 completely. A complete sale would implicate IP ti move with the asset. I would prefer the licensing as you suggest.

If, as you suggest, AVA6000 is sold completely (ie with IP), wouldn’t there be a risk that the buyer takes it on a parallel “next generation” development similar (yet sufficiently different to avoid an IP clash) to what Avacta is doing with 6103? I don’t have the IP expertise but maybe somebody does (IPMatters?)

310/75 looks more like more than four times rather than nearly three times the maximum tolerated dose. The small inaccuracies remain Avacta’s guilty pleasure..

A lot of noise here. Not happy with the level at which options are set but sp will still need to get to 8£ before they can exercise. It is however unlikely that they will exercise immediately once we get there

-8£- and as somebody suggested below will only do so if and when a deal has been brokered, which as such would be excellent news. I think the 4 are just preparing themselves to reap the benefits of that deal.

I have no clue about the 4 beneficiaries’ financial position but could it be that they don’t have funds available to make substantial investments? Vlad doesn’t seem to have a luxury lifestyle from what we see in his videos 😉

My takeaway on this is that a deal is imminent, otherwise why bother.

Hope you’re right BV and that CC comes up with some “new” news. The decline in sp the last few days may indicate that this may be false hope.

I was one of those “morons” who kept buying on the way down to such extend that my avg was 55p when it started to go up from low 30’s. We can’t all time it perfectly but a very happy chap these days.. 😌

I know, but last week Juho was reported to have said that they have no intention to sell.. 2 RNS’s since..
