Money is pouring into gold because money is leaving the US due to tarrifs. The tech sector is being battered , i.e Nvidia is tanking 10% as we speak , thats probably 100million going into gold right there !

Hopefully some of the money leaving the US will make it to the ftse.

You have to remember part of the wintershall side of operations are trading at agreed local pricing rather than international market pricing so thats something less to worry about. Other than a naf sp right now I can't see any issues. Oil and gas prices are stable after all and we know going into the summer oil price will be supported.

Makes me feel sick when you think how much oil and gas this country burns through , yet we hold shares in the largest UK oil and gas producer and it's the worst performing stock. Unreal. Saying that I can see the tide turning here. Once some good news is released this will rocket back to 300p I'm sure. Corrupt labour will throw hundreds of millions at ccs in some kind of tax relief so that's where the hbr UK will make big money and that will make all the difference here. It's like the UK government have shorted north sea stock on purpose, maybe for the benefit of pension funds or billionaire investors.

Surely with interest rates coming down demand for oil will go up , especially moving into the summer months. Also cheaper oil means more economic activity which of course supports demand. Give it a month or so and I'm sure we will see an improvement.

I'm sorry but this is a different animal to pmo ....... pmo had high debt and expensive assets , and the poo/gas were poor for a decade due to Russian supply.

HBR have average debt and excellent low cost assets across the world, with plentiful near field opportunities.
