HH, I did say that but look at the hit on cashflow and increasing debt. I can see new shares having to be issued very soon. In a matter if a week or so my day opinion has changed due to an incompetent CEO. Company needs new direction and strategy. How can they look for acquisitions (per their strategy) when they are a loss making business and have no cash.

The problem we have now Chris is that LUCE is an outright punt now. Credibility of the company is in complete shambles. Even if H2 goes well, something else will crop up knowing this lunatic in charge. It's imperative to look at the management when investing in a company and I don't trust the current CEO, he is clueless. Why take a punt on Luce when there are other companies generating profits and healthy EPS growth is my view.

We won't see a nice dividend for at least 3-4 years now. I was really bullish on LUCE but today really annoyed me because the demand is clearly there but the CEO doesn't know what he's doing. Basic things such as cost control, looking at margins, correct product mix, opportunity cost etc are just ignored until sh*t hits the fan. Then he'll come out and say we've implemented new processes. Everything is reactive and this is seriously eating into shareholder returns.

Chris, there was no mention of a £4m loss! He needs to go. First the inventory valuations and now margins have been battered. The potential in Luce is huge however, not with this clown in charge.

This is ridiculous. I wasn't expecting results to be this bad. CEO should step down now. Credibility for LUCE is a freakin shambles. Terrible results, terrible CEO. Only good thing is led lighting demand will gtow exponentially over thr next decade however, company is run by a clueless tool.

This is terrible. Absolute madness. I have a few BTL properties and have worked very hard to acquire them and saved up over several years. All the landlord haters have no clue how hard it is to save that money and it's like a pension for most of us. The government are crooks and like to blame landlords for the property bubble but their incompetence has lead to this. It's savage what they are doing.

I hope they don't tax profits at this rate.

That would be fabulous however, very much doubt we will see an increase like that in a short time period. Long term (3-5 years) I am very bullish on LUCE. It's a company I would never want to sell in theory. I hope 120p plays out obviously. Hope new CFO is looking at ways to increase margins. International demand will keep increasing and no doubt as LED is the future but I can see LUCE setting up in other territories that they aren't in, with a progressive mindset. As soon as divi starts again with proper payouts, 50p entry will seem like we acquired a Ferrari for £25k :).

Got into LUCE a few days ago after doing research. After the Sh*tshow with the valuations last year you can see why the share price has plummeted however, this is stupidly undervalued now. The market for LED lighting over the 5-10 years will likely increase exponentially (forecasts suggest $110bn by 2025) so even if LUCE were to capture a small portion of this demand, it would likely leave them with a market cap of around £500m easily over the next 3-5 years.

The challenge that the CEO and new CFO have is to built back credibility amongst shareholders which will take a long time. Fund managers will likely pile in over the next year or two, as they'll struggle to stay away with the exponential growth in demand for LED lighting.

This is for sure a long-term play but obviously comes with risk especially if another error is identified by management in the foreseeable future.

This is so undervalued, it's unbelievable. With the land that they have, emphasis on actually building on the land and increasing number of planning applications granted, I can see this being a £500m market cap in the next 2-3 years. This is a gem of a company IMO, DYOR.

I've invested in Cbox and really think this is going places. Great products and fantastic growth prospects. Does anyone know when there will be a trading update. I'm tracking new store opening through their Facebook page and there is good progress being made.

Hello, I've been reading through the posts on this board and have found it very insightful. Strictly, my portfolio also consists heavily on the house-builders (BDEV, Gleeson Homes, Redrow and Inland). Out of all four, I am very bullish on Gleeson Homes and Inland. I'm a bit nervous around the volatility and uncertainty with Brexit at the moment so have moved to 50% cash.

Has anyone else on this board come across (or invested in) Gleeson and Inland in particular as from what I've researched, they seem like an excellent long-term investment.
