Well, we've got a large retail base and a fair number of instos - will MV consider our free float too low because of the instos (sticky hands)?

We've got plenty of liquidity on AIM but ASX is new - if MV only use the ASX for eligibility they could decide we haven't built a long enough liquidity record? The question here is, will they only be considering the ASX - I don't know.

We listed on the ASX in June , will MV consider it too close to call it a full quarter in terms of stability?

In my opinion, if MV count AIM and ASX liquidity combined then we have a good chance, if they only count ASX then we are very much borderline compared to the other likely candidates.

Gold is measured in troy ounces, not standard ounces.

1 troy ounce = 31.1035 grams, not 28.5 grams.

The “28.5 grams” figure you've given is wrong — it’s about 2.6 grams too low.

1 troy ounce of gold contains 31.1035 grams. At a grade of 1 g/t and 100% recovery, you’d need about 31.1 tonnes of ore to produce 1 troy ounce. In practice, lower recovery rates mean more ore is required.

Lack of understanding. Passive's ETF's are price insentative. For the afore mentioned there is absolutely no gain to be made in fronting.

But it won't be to fulfil their Aussie ETF'S and what not, because price doesn't matter, if they pay a higher price their indexes just follow suit - they get higher.

More likely, it will be to placate the Aussie IIM's.  Proper money!

On top of that, they might even get pretty near to fulfilling the "forced buys" of everyone else on Friday. Probs about 80% if they choose to do so.

Well, I have my strategy in place. 

Friday 19th Aussie's close at 4. When the auction starts, I'll be watching the order book for the big orders wanting to match the official close price. It's certainly possible I will be one of those who post here, to witness the largest single print - in a minute (at 4.10) that we will ever see. Dozens of millions if not hundreds of millions.

Monday (here) first thing, MM's and Arbies will very quickly re-price to lose the gap. 

PI's and traders might push us back to the open, or the profit takers, like me, will push it down to - probably todays level - if not lower.

The only thing I see keeping momentum for us in the UK is an RNS from Shaun on the Monday... always possible. (if so, my plan will be adapted to suit).

Everyone makes money their own way - It's my belief that once the Instos have control, the days of SP rockets for us here are over. In future it wont really matter what new discoveries or mergers and the likes take place - Insto's will not be trading on either open market. At some point our AIM listing will be consigned to the bin, and that ain't too far away.

Maybe the "roadshow gang" will take their years of learning to another junior - on the whole they've done a great job in highlighting the potential of Greatland and it would be lovely to see them pop up with another explorer early doors. But it's a time thing isn't it. Someone said, Shaun took the PI's with him - he certainly took the PIS.

That's just me, can't be doing waiting for years to make a turn. Perfectly understandable that there are the long termers who are quite happy to sit and wait for years. But one thing is for certain, in my opinion of course, Greatland will never in my lifetime follow through with the Lasonde - that "magical notion" is way, way out of date.

All in my opinion - everyone to their own.

Ian, Just took a second look at your post, I'm not a fan of Spade, and would have liked to support you in your theory, so to speak.

Ian, the UT breakdown shows mixed activity. As for hidden accumulation, whilst it is plausible, there is no buyer / seller identity or broker flags, which doesn't disprove your theory but at the same time it doesn't prove it.

Spade, on this occasion, is right to challenge your assumption that all late trades were buys - the UT data shows a mixed flow.

Does the truth lie in nuance? heavy late prints can signal accumulation, but without broker flags or trade origin, it’s speculative.

That said, we all know what's really going on, we just can't prove it.

Hi Dipsard, would be much appreciated, and I'm sure not just by me, if you could put what you said into layman's terms, specifically "Short term there does seem to be a correlation with positive SP action when a stock is added but if course moving further out you're then introducing individual company and sector sentiment to the mix so harder to establish meaningful trends."
