My personal opinion, not a statement of fact - I think you'd agree on that at least Timber?

Maybe Shaun will release results outside of the Q - who knows? That is what you, I and others were debating.

However, as for Irish's "statement of fact" - and he may well be telling the truth -  but as per ASX, UK MAR/FCA, AIM, JORC, and industry governance frameworks, it is abundantly clear to me that privately communicating the timing or intention to release material drilling results outside of the quarterly reporting cycle, to a single investor, would be a breach of both regulatory rules and industry best practice. I could be wrong - so I've communicated Irish's statement to the investors team at Greatland - I shall let you know what they say.

I'd be inclined to think we are entering the results window with an unprecedented breadth of scrutiny from the Aussies. I think drill results before or after will serve no purpose. Unless of course we are obliged to - but since there have been no announcements following Shaun's comment, I think it fair to say there is nothing explosive in the results.

Besides, we're no longer a company scratching around for support. 

Our cousins (and us of course) will be looking for confirmation of output stability, grade consistency, and resource growth. Outperformance could light another of our burners, but at the same time, missed targets or delayed integration of Hav could result in a large bucket of cold water...

It's vital that we can show delivery against the upper end of output and lower end of AISC; detailed drilling and resource updates, especially from the high-grade zones; confidence in mine-life extension, integration milestones, and future exploration scale.

If we can do that, eyes open for threshold crossings - two 603's would do us the world of good.

Couple of weeks ago I decided to take a four-week punt on Novo Resources. 

One of those long shot gambles that might just pay off, but watching closely.

This afternoon, one of our group informed me that Greatland have had a JV running since 2021 (originally with Kalamazoo).  

Malmsbury (part of Belltopper) is the JV in question - I had no idea.

Apparently just under A$2m invested to date.

Doesn't look like any milestone investments have equated to % ownership?

No doubt the LTH's were aware, but new co-owners might not be?

All said and done, a great annual report.

A post this morning expressed disappointment over a lack of specific breakdowns of exploration and resource development capex by tenement. It's no big shakes for some, but for those that have followed this story for a long while - I do appreciate it would have been of interest. 

I noticed there was no explicit breakdown for the Hav capex - perhaps this will be clarified in the audited report? 

And I would think it prudent to expect further capex pressure for TSF8 but nothing unmanageable.

Albeit an aside, of real interest to me is our potential merger with Evolution (I don't believe there will be an acquisition, but who knows?).

Hands-up I bought into EVN in January for 2 reasons - they are growing and they are looking to expand - who better than Greatland?

To my mind, they're waiting on Hav. I think a lot of people are waiting on Hav.

The FS is huge - absolutely huge!

As for the funding question raised by a few - I'd go for debt everytime. Last thing the Aussies would want after such a short time is a raise.

There are myriad reasons as to why we see the late "unknown" trades, and we have seen an increased level recently. 

That significant increase might be because now we've entered the Aussie index, the funds tracking it are buying/selling accordingly (cross-market)? If their investors are putting money in, managers need to buy more, if they're pulling out - they need to sell.

It might also be the big boys rebalancing, adjusting how much they hold in gold miners vs. tech vs. energy vs bitcoin or whatever, they might be increasing gold miners - they might be decreasing. Not specific to us, but generally.

As far as we are concerned, I watch for big volume spikes - if we're normally trading 5m shares a day and that suddenly jumps to 20m that's a flag for me. Rise or drop, big investors don't nibble - they bite! And I follow accordingly.

A bit like other posters who take my words and insight and create a new conversation and claim it's their work. Not every reader here is as daft as some would like to think.

Whilst I, perhaps like many, appreciate the exuberance of some posters, talk of "wait 'til the drill results drop" might be a tad misleading.

Our ASX announcements, investor presentations, and RNS filings, provide clarity on the intended schedule for releasing new mineral resource data

Telfer Mineral Resource Estimate Update: March 2026 quarter, informed by CY25 drilling.

Ore Reserve Estimate Update: June 2026 quarter, based on CY25 drilling data.

Our last QA report, FY25 FR and the updated prospectus repeat the intended schedule for releasing new info.

It's possible our satellite prospects such as Ironclad, Dolphy, Camp Dome and Big Tree will drop somewhere into the same schedule.

During his MFA presentation, Shaun said he was pleased/encouraged by the results he was seeing from Telfer (I can't recall his exact words - but that was my impression). Granted the geologists might be shining torches on the cores and giving opinions but realistically speaking Shaun would have been making reference to assay returns.

Broadly speaking (under both AIM and ASX rules), our assay results will have been (and will be) assessed in context - how do they differ from previous disclosures, expectations and relative project history measures? Our BOD is, no doubt, well versed in such matters but our Nomads and QP are central in compliance. If any of the "received" assayed drills, post Shaun's comments are materially different to the aforementioned, then yes, we will get an RNS (ASX Announcement). Ie. Materially higher/lower.

Possible, but likely?

An aside - Havieron Feasibility Study, December 2025 quarter - I expect it to drop between 27th Oct - 14th Nov. Having listened to Shaun, I believe he is itching to get it released. I also expect him to respect fairness in the timing of the release for both us PI'S and his supporting Aussie Insto's - probably 15:00 Perth time (07:00 UK time). I can't think of a fairer time - granted the Aussies will have an hour to do as they choose.

Whilst having no wish to court controversy, the short-term gainers should be keeping a close eye on our RSI - last check we were hovering at 60, just 10 away from the dreaded 70. Perhaps a sharp pull-back before the end of this week/month, just before the FS ignites the burners? Makes no difference to me - what I have left in here will be sat for at least 3 years - such is my confidence. Slow haul but profit nonetheless.
