For me, Mr Day's strategy has to be questioned. Get in some big hitters with the offer of options, those big hitters are not working for GGP. Mr Day believed that if big names in the industry could be attached to GGP then investors would be be falling over themselves to buy. Failed.

Too much credence has been given to Mr Day.

Just because he was part of successful companies, doesn't mean he can lead one.

It's my opinion Mr Day will soon not see the light of Day.

In my view, it's impossible for GGP to go bareback for 70% let alone Telfer. Offers of mergers are taking place but as is all too common, the difficulty lies in deciding who will be head honcho. Volume is required for Telfer.

Baffled as to why you should mention that GGP are not affiliated to a media company, Nothing in my post suggested such a thing.

You got your takeaways and posted in good faith. I get some takeaways and post also. At times I get things wrong, and I'm happy to be corrected. It's not a competition.

FR, or rather Australian Financial Review - sub - Street Talk, are part of a mass media company.

The "contributors/reporters" are paid commission every time someone subscribes (because of their strapline).

There are thousands upon thousands who seek to make a living submitting reports/stories to the likes of AFR, it's my understanding that they are not paid a wage.

Coverage ranges from the price of fish to the finding of a new planet and everything in-between.

Those who join the programme (of AFR) for a "fee" are given access to "web crawling" software.

Primarily the crawlers are looking for a "level" of questions being asked across the internet.

Do some research and you'll get the gist.

In all honesty, might as well take advice from Empty Boots!

On a side note, it's quite funny that AFR is owned by non other than Nine Entertainment!
