Not sure about a bid, it's been touted as a candidate for years but nothing yet. As for a Putin discount, if the terrible war in Ukraine stopped I'm sure stock markets would rise and ITV would to some extent be a beneficiary of that.

I bought into AGR yesterday, they appear to be a reasonable price for buying in but like many I'm either in too early, or out too early with many of my investments ha! ha! At least there is a decent dividend whilst waiting for the sp to recover.

I agree many of the placees will have gone, however the bod's took part in both so they are still sat on those losses.

The current sp is below the Sept 2021 placing and the Nov.2018 placing. I imagine the bod's are not too enamoured sitting on losses from these two placings, and I would expect actions to rectify their losing positions.

October 2019 @ 1.6p & 2.6p, again in Feb 2020 @ 6.5p and again July 2020 @19.5p. Nothing since as I am happy with my holding.
