The half-year report of 31/03/23 from the point of view of the Chairman was also expecting a result in the near future - the word "imminently" was not used but it is fair to say there was a similarly positive attitude.

The progress of the 22/01/25 meeting was acknoweldged via RNS on 24/01/25. Process does take time and the people generally involved are not entirely the same as in 2023, perhaps 2025 will be a year with some progress.

Re. 17:18: Yep gold dore is unrefined gold, not purely consisting of gold but historic to relevant assets: silver, as well - as some people will know but I have learnt that specific today. The El Bagre mill (from reading information accessed from the Soma ... Website) has produced 20,000 ounces of gold dore annually. When I was reading about Codero I could only find reference to gold but silver would still apply if there was gold dore. The El Bagre Mill was described as having - inclusive of this slight rounding down: 88% recovery of gold and 88% recovery of silver historically.

If El Limon Mill needs to be used for processing, it will be interesting to see what goes through it. El Limon mine when that re-starts (later) that did have high grade gold and decent grade silver, from my interpretation of RRR communications (I know it was high grade gold). Soma were looking at expanding the resource for El Limon Mine if I recall recent communications correctly, so there could within and during the next few years, be more annual production as well as good grade.

I attended a talk given by Tony Benn when I was doing A-levels, people of different political oinions and none attended - which he will likely, have understood; he was generous with his time and attitutde and did seem like a genuinely respectful person.

From reading and some awareness of history, I have a lot of respect for Atlee amd Wilson. I respect recent leaders such as Brown and Kinnock.

I once saw a retrospective debate betwee Michael Foot and Edward Heath regarding the Common Market. It was high level - though at one point, followimg a mischievous provocation from Heath it almost got to "see you outside" (not expressed) which got a laugh from Heath - it was a high level debate and my instinct was that they had a lot of respect for each other; following reading and with a fair minded attitude - I believe that they were both brave men and patriotic.

Regardless of if someone presents a left wing, right wing or centre ground opinion, a lot of people have the awareness to undestand whether someone is serious and respectful or if someone has a tendency towards the trivial. Even a trivially constructed stance is not under-estimated by some.

I'm sure you could recall some left wing British politicians including very left wing ones who had integrity and respect for others. Honest research, testing one's own oinion by reading / considering others might mean one is less inclined to their version of virtue signalling and grandstanding; respect for others, with a good attitude - regardless of if they are of the same or different opinion might help with that.

It was said in the 07/10/24 RNS that they continue towards gold production, the 06/11/24 RNS confirmed that they were keeping up with their schedule; that means continuing towards gold production and specific progress highlighted that day, referred to the sourcing and detailing of equipment which had been paid for.

18/11/24 RNS detailed that team and equipment had arrived in Ougadougo.

The annual report of 13/12/24 said sales of gold are a current priority... operations at Burkina Faso and elswehere are being developed to enable a steady stream of income... That was from the Conclusion section of the Chairman's statement.

The 06/11/24 RNS said not all developments merit a seperate announcent at the same time as detailing the equipment that had been sourced and paid for. I take that comment as no news doesn't necessarily mean nothing has happened and it is possible there has been initial progress but not yet enough to be publicised.

The 29th April RNS was aiming, with a previous team, to start work on site by early june 2024 but that.was dependent on no customs delays. The June 10th 2024 RNS refrred to a hold up because of an extra freight charge - which was not appropriate. The original team weren't able to get sufficient equipment delivered to enable the start of work on site.

Fortunately the new team were able to get equipment into Burkina Faso as per 18/11/24 RNS and the 06/11/24 RNS detailed what equipment had been sauced and paid for.

The boxed section below the general text in 07/10/24 RNS considered immediate and scaleable production - I think that was dependent on sufficient set up and days available to the staff before the Christmas holidays, it still wasn't promised by the end of 2024 but does seem to be in the context of a "quick start" operation.
