Not sure exactly what happened in 2009, but considering that JPmorgan and city of London investment trust have established positions in NEX in the last couple years I would say that it should be pretty safe, compared to others at least, long term (lots of bookings for this summer). It probably is not feasible to go ALL electric, particularly on longer routes, but likely shorter routes with the infrastructure, such as those in cities, are going to mostly be electric or certainly hybrid in the coming years.
