Well ADT I have to apologise for disagreeing with your share price estimates! An investor of Mr Ferguson's calibre rarely take up large positions both safe from downside risks but with multibag potential.

We all need to be grateful of due diligence exercised in a sense on our behalf. Follow the money but more importantly listen and follow the smart and capable. Upgrading my former buy and hold recs.

ADT you are definitely right re broker's note. It's hard to say with these companies where the SP destination is. Many thousands of averagely educated PI's swarm around innumerable fairly hopeless oilers but not yet at Bloe. I reckon any price under 20p is safe for the moment but if/when the gas discovery is monetised then I am after triple figures, aided by the ingress of newbies. As always DYOR!! Taff I think it is more important to calculate a future valuation for a company and with all risks firmly in mind, hold for that metric but yes, your top slicing method does have merit: rather depends on ones portfolio structure and cash position.

Its funny isn't it? PI's are often a bit barrel fixated but flow rates and oil quality are the top line factors. I don't have many of these but I'm hoping for even better rates after the shut-in and the progression of 2C to 2P which should happen when the field is commercialised, as stated by the SPE. Then my target will be way higher.

Very sorry to read the rns this a.m, someone over on Logp mentioned your well. Verbier could be commercial, ideally you would need a cluster of minor discoveries. We have a four well campaign plus three options, all fully funded. Still though I would not recommend it, environmentalism is on the rise.

There is a core truth in your post, in addition the UK is now under a grave threat of regional instability due to Scotland's probable departure from the UK. The nuclear deterrent is immovable, inspite of all the blustering by Francois etc.

The EU exit deal failed due to the Labour party three line whip, acting against their electorate's wishes but to comply with the Labour Party conference (mostly Marxist nutjobs now) and a few right wing fruitloops like Francois.

The majority of us are in the middle, happy or unhappy about Brexit and hopeful that the deal would be a useful start to future proceedings. Nutjobs, radicals, maybe 5% of our population now firmly in control.

Just a minnow holder here, my punt is that a deal or deals are in play. Something has to give! either hunt around for commercial gas at Ramhead, Corrib and Barryroe or its three or more LNG tankers to a new Shannon plant every week. Ireland would never achieve energy independence.

Looked at a few companies this week, chose this one to invest a small amount gathered from LOGP profit. Its not going to be the next BP and a bit geographically limited but the operational plan looks sensible.

Once you have cores and preferably a discovery then the accuracy of seismic full folds tends to improve. Until PVR find something in the Atlantic Margin they have nothing, just useful target acquiring info.

Not sure if that is logical, if (likely) the PVR expo wells are dusters and in the (likely) case that Barryroe is commercial then LOGP could repeat could smash PVR as a value generator from today's levels.
