Nice one Tom, please tell us how your ITV & MKS holdings are doing? MKS at £100k worth at 260p, today 121p when you were pumping them earlier this year. LOL. I'm currently sat on a very nice profit in S4 Capital. Lol. I can put you in the shade with my 37 years of investing, that I am quite sure of.

A pretty low thing to do even by Toms very low standards to insult someones defenceless daughter, Tut, tut. You are right Solley Bournemouth Big Mouth has spoilt this once productive discussion board, this is why I have taken a back seat. Tom in nothing more than a attention seeker who will insult anyone to get it.

I used to like reading your comments Solley regarding your daughters career in the media idudustry. I'm sure that she's forgot more about the industry than Tom will ever learn. Don't let him drag you down to his level Solley. Good luck mate.

I would like to see my comment where I'm pumping the S4 share price? I've said previously that patience will be needed holding S4, 2-5 years. IMO.

I've noticed that Manunited31 has called out other posters for either ramping or deramping S4. Maybe Manunited31 would like to add somthing productive worth reading regarding S4 Capital to the discussion board instead of accusing others. Who cares who's ramping or deramping, it makes no difference to the share price.

I welcome positive or indeed negative comments regarding S4. We all have the same objective, to make a profit. Good luck to all holders of S4 including you Manunited31.

FYI Manunited31 comment that was taken down twice yesterday was aimed at myself & Pearls, which was laughable really. He/she accused us of pumping & dumping. 1. I'm invested in S4 for the long haul & 2. I've been around long enough to know that whatever anyone says on a free discussion board won't make any difference to the preformance of any share price.

Last week I tried to give a poster some good advice over on the ADVFN board, I suspect that the poster under a different alias is the same poster.

I agree, not many safer investments than BT in these uncertain times. You wouldn't know that looking at the share price chart. Share price knocked back because of our government looking in to Drahi's shareholding that resulted in no action needed. Further share price drops on nothing more than speculation with regards VM/O2. It's quite ridiculous really knocking 40p off the share price.

Ok, 50p anyone.

Yes a lot has happened in the last 12 months.

Reading between the lines of what Deutsche Telekom's CEO Tim Hoettges said almost 12 months ago regarding their BT shareholding. I think that DT were potentially going to off load their shareholding to Drahi. JMO.

BERLIN, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Deutsche Telekom (DTEGn.DE) is weighing options for its 12% stake in Britain's BT (BT.L) and expects movement within the next 12 months, CEO Tim Hoettges said on Tuesday.

"We have a lot of optionality in the BT business. It's too early to make a decision. We are entertaining all options," Hoettges told a news briefing.

BT is at the centre of speculation after telecoms and cable company Altice acquired a 12.1% stake in June, saying at the time that it did not intend to launch a takeover offer. Deutsche Telekom holds the BT stake in its pension fund.

"I would say that in the next 12 months something is going to happen with the asset because the shareholder side is changing rapidly," Hoettges said in response to a question from an analyst.

History surrounding Drahi tells us that whatever company he usually takes a stake in, he usually takes full control of in the end. Unlikely that our government would allow this to happen with regards BT. Drahi isn't a fool, he must have expected this. So what's his next move? Drahi is currently sat on a heavy paper loss.

Would our government allow BT & Deutsche Telekom merger?

In July the day that the government announced that they would investigate Drahi's 18% BT shareholding the BT share price stood at 190.20p, this news knocked 14.55p off the BT share price. So fast forward to today when the government now announces that it is not to take any action, are we now going to see the return of 14.55p on the share price? Currently up 2.30p. I guess not.

Door left open for Drahi?

LONDON (Reuters) -Billionaire Patrick Drahi will not be forced to cut his stake in BT Group (LON:BT) after the British government ruled the investment did not pose any national security implications.

Franco-Israeli entrepreneur Drahi, BT's biggest shareholder who has previously pursued debt-fuelled deals to buy assets in France, the United States, Portugal and Israel, bought 12.1% of BT last year before increasing his holding to 18%.

The investment in the telecoms company behind the country's critical fibre network drew a blunt response from Britain and the government said in May it would "call in" the deal to investigate any threat to national security.

"BT Group has now been notified by the secretary of state that no further action is to be taken," the British firm said in a statement, referring to Drahi's investment vehicle Altice.

The announcement of a government investigation had knocked BT's shares on the day. The national security legislation came into force earlier this year, giving the government powers to scrutinise and, if necessary, intervene in acquisitions.

Yes you are quite right, the share price could drop back to 120p or lower, no one knows, but on the other hand it could recover to a far higher price. No share price goes up in a straight line. You have to buy a lottery ticket to have a chance of winning the lottery.

If there's a better investment on the stock market than S4 Capital then I've missed it. Patience is needed for 2-5 years. I may be proved wrong, there are no guarantees, but I will take my chances on S4 Capital & Sir Martin Sorrell who's a proven winner.

Three S4 directors have recently purchased shares in S4 on 2/8/22, 3/8/22, 5/8/22. So I see no reason why SMS would not have the same option.

A USA listing would acheive a considerable higher valuation IMO of what we currently have. The current UK valuation of S4 £842 million is a joke, for a company that is expected to report revenue of £1 billion plus this financial year.
