I'm not worried one bit. There are more things to be positive about than negative....

Corna Virus....... We have 2 vaccines and possibly 3 with news later this month from Oxford/Astra, with potentially more vaccines in trials currently. The virus will be taken care of and will be a distant memory in 12 months.

Brexit is at the end game, this has been hanging over the stock market for 4 years, about to be resolved one way or another. Markets will move on and Brexit will also be a distant memory.

Happy to hold ITV for the eventual recovery in the share price to realistic valuations of 160p - 200p. I will soon be getting paid to wait with the expected return of the dividend in 2021.

Thanks for your reply Velo, I was hoping that you had gone long in BT and had made some cash, you would have deserved it for all the hard work and effort that you put in on BT, and are kind enough to share your knowledge with this thread. I for one thank you for that.

I wouldn't dream of advising you or anyone on what's best for you, but haven't you considered buying BT with a long-term 3 year target, I'm pretty sure we will all look back in 3 years from now, and the BT share price will be a lot higher than it is today, I think that it's a no brainer.

Hardup, I agree with you, you should do well over the next few years. I won't be selling any of my BT shares until the share price starts with a 3. I'm willing to wait it out, until the market changes it's opinion on BT. GL.

I'm not suffering from my paper loss invested in shares, I know that my shares will recover in time.
In the 1970's I have very fond memories on holidays in the south of France, we went twice to Biot next to Antibes and the following year to a very small place called Valras. Two of the best holidays with my parents that I remember. The French Riviera is a lovely part of the world, one of the nicest places I've had the pleasure to visit. We also visited Monaco, Saint-Tropez, Nice, Grasse, and Ventamiglea Italy. Great memories.

I think that you'll find that ITV are currently 96p, NOT 50p. Fair value in my opinion 170p. The market will rerate ITV once we get past this dreadful virus.

Hi Velo, did you manage to pick up a few BT shares? Hopefully at the start of this rally. BT are still very cheap with a P/E of 8.4 IMO.

Once again Tom my ITV purchase price was 177p, including the dividends received this brings my average down t0 160p I have no plans to sell at a loss, I don't need the money so it will stay in ITV until the market comes around to my way of thinking, in that ITV are undervalued. I have time to wait it out.

With you having sold out of ITV Tom at 82p why didn't you listen to your own advise and buy at 50P? You had that chance Tom but failed miserably. You then moved into Shell, you would have been better off not panicking and staying in ITV. I wonder how many potential ITV investors who read your comments and decided not to purchase ITV when the share price was down at 50p 60p 70p 80p....... ? You may have cost a lot of people good money Tom, how does that make you feel?
