Over the pond ITV ADR's closed up 4.32% and up a further 1.14% in after hours trading. Bodes well for tomorrow guys, hold on to your hats, 110p maybe tomorrow.

I hope that you're right Carrington with a bid of 280p, not sure to be honest if this is achievable even with a bid. I do think that we will see 180p again without a bid. If someone is going to show their hand and bid, they will surly be getting itchy feet with the share price movements of this week starting at 95p, now currently 105p.

Yes I agree Aus, 350p would be a fair price I feel too. Once the fibre build is done I feel that BT will become a cash cow, with cost saving in excess of £2B per year from 2025, you never know BT may even see 500p again. Lol. I will be more than happy with 300p, but I may be greedy and enjoy the the cash cow.

I can only think that it is some kind of bid for BT or Openreach. VOD are not moving like BT.

My average is 187p but I don't mind if the share price stays low at 100p, this would do me fine for the next 12 months, this would allow me to increase my holding and average down. I believe we won't see the true potential in the the share price for a few years, maybe not until 2025 when most of the fibre build will be complete and paid for. Markets are forward looking, so it may recover before then. However, I feel with the big £12BLN Cap Ex will hold BT back, this suites me fine. The value will be out in the end, and the end game is what I'm looking forward to, 300p plus.

Tom, I agree the vaccines I'm sure will be worked on for further improvement. The Oxford/Astra vaccine only costs £2 per vaccine, this I'm sure will be used amongst the poor countries around the world. I'm also sure that the richest countries will help pay for it. At £2 per vaccine, £4 in total, it's small price to pay for saving a life.

Great credit most go to the scientist who have produced 3 suitable vaccines to date in 10 months, that usually take years to achieve.

Yes unfortunately some businesses will suffer short term, I'm expecting the vaccines to help starting next week. The virus won't be an issue by the summer of 2021. Businesses will have to start advertising again, the survival of the fittest. ITV will come out of this in better shape, with a 30% reduction in debt. Happy days are around the corner.

Forgot to say anyone switching out of the UK to the USA may well be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. IMO.

Yes in my 36 years of investing I have averaged down loads of times, and yes I do sell when the share price hits my target price, leaving me a nice profit. Slowly, slowly, catchy monkey. I'm no Warren Buffett, but I haven't done too badly over the years.

Just to add, before the virus struck ITV were expected to have improving revenues this year. Things will get back on track in 2021, ITV are one to hold for at least the next 12 months, I won't be selling.
