Anyone who has done the complete opposite to Tom will have done very well since he chimed up in August. He will go away once the share price reaches 160p again, which it will. At this price he will have to admit he called it wrong and move on.
History proves that there is a know all TomTit on every discussion board of any company that has a weak share price. This gives them the opportunity to boast, usually to shareholders who are under water in their investment, it sort of makes them feel better about themselves in some small minded way. Sad I know.

Hi Velo, I suspect that you're waiting for confirmation regarding share price, but at what price will you enter BT? Are you not going to miss quite a few percent, when in my opinion the odds are in BT's favour regarding their current valuation. In other words on a fundamental valuation BT are in anybody's valuation cheap, there is far more upside potential than downside risk. Of course that's just my opinion I could be wrong, and often am.

Any UK EU trade deal will propel undervalued UK domestic shares and sink US Dollar earners. IMO.

Velo, with the Brexit trade deal deadline being put back, I was thinking that we maybe in for a positive day on Monday, will the market not take this move as a positive sign that maybe, just maybe, we may get a trade deal?

Hi Solly, I'm not sure that they need it more than us mate, we import more from them than we export from the EU, I just think everyone us and them need a deal.

Agreed Alex, it would be nice if a deal was sorted out and yes it would then have been the right decision to purchase ITV or any UK domestic company. At this late stage I only give a 20% chance of that happening. I hope to be proved wrong and there is a deal, I really do.

Alan, I think come Monday if or should I say, once it's announced that the UK is leaving the EU without a trade deal, you will have been able to buy ITV 5% lower at least. I hope to be proved wrong, but short term it could be tin hat time. Medium to long term you should do well with your ITV purchase. GL.

Quite the opposite, the Goldman Sachs ITV sell off of over 21% of their holding in August, to now 7.78% has been a very positive effect on the share price. I hope GS have found a good home for the shares.

Yes I totally agree Velo, very good advice.
To be fair, I would take your word above most if not all other posters opinions regarding charts. I take charts with a very large pinch of salt to be quite honest, I'm not saying that I don't trust them, because it's been proven that people like your good self believe and more importantly act on the chart. I don't know enough about charts to give a opinion. I prefer to go by the company's fundamentals, the share price chart is just an added bonus. If or when the day comes that you say that in your opinion BT's chart is breaking out of it's long term trading range to the upside, is the day that I will get excited. Cheers.
