I sold out at 183.38p on the RNS takeover announcement date, I bought back in the next day at 174.695p gaining 671 shares. I intend to hold on incase there is a counter bid, while unlikely, you never know. I will probably take Qualcomm shares instead of the cash offer, depending on the Qualcomm share price at the time. I see Qualcomm as good value long term, although there is currently some uncertainty regarding tarrifs IMHO.

Reassuring that S4's largest shareholders Patient Capital Management & Third Avenue Management continue to hold / increase in Q2.

Large increase from Dowgate Capital, while Rathbones Group doubles its shareholding.

I'm hopefull that from Q4 of this year, going in to a stronger year in 2026. Plus all past M&A now paid for, Net Debt continues to fall. Let's hope that the patient S4 investor is rewarded in 2026, and beyond. My god we deserve it.

While it's not been disclosed yet, I'm sure Dollars that don't cover the price of a Qualcomm share will be returned in cash Dollars to the Alphawave shareholder. As it currently stands buying in to Alphawave is a cheap way of buying Qualcomm shares.

GM new Whopper client, a top 3 client by revenue.

10 whopper clients.

SC Johnson trending towards being the next whopper client.

I'm hopeful of a recovery starting in H2 of this year, going in to a stronger year in 2026, probably S4's first profit. Write Sorrell off at your peril, he's no fool, far from it.

The best option currently would be to take the Qualcomm shares offer, not the cash offer. With Qualcomm share price increasing since the offer, obviously the share price could fall back before a decision needs to be made. You never know Arm or Siemens could make a counter offer, then we could have a bun fight.

Also the cash offer is determined by the $ & £ exchange rate that will obviously fluctuate, currently the cash offer is 184p per share.

I wouldn't rule out a counter bid, this article below tips Siemens.

"I would bet that Siemens has some kind of Right of First Refusal tied to the OEM agreement and Tony getting offers from Qualcomm and Arm will pull that trigger. I really do not see Siemens having much of a choice but to pay a premium for Alphawave.

Martin Sorrell’s advertising group S4 Capital (SFOR) has protected profits with cost-cutting in a tough market and a new ‘whopper’ segment should drive the group forward, says Peel Hunt.

Analyst Jessica Pok retained her ‘hold’ recommendation and target price of 45p on the Citywire Elite Companies + rated stock, which dropped 10.4% to 42.2p last week after it delivered a 13.5% decline in the first half but managed to maintain earnings.

‘With S4 heavily indexed in the tech sector – 44% of revenue – the trading backdrop has been challenging since last year,’ said Pok. ‘However, management was swift to react, and the cost-cutting actions have protected profitability.’

Its ‘differentiated’ artificial intelligence offering is also bearing fruit ‘with a new whopper – General Motors – added this year, which should contribute to the second half, but become more meaningful next year’.

‘However, given on balance softer client spend continues to impact S4, we remain at “hold” for now,’ Pok said.

I'm starting to think that the Alphawave BOD are standing firm regarding price. Talks have now been going for over two months, with the PUSU date extended for the fourth time. IMO the offer is either going to be for a high price 250p plus per share, compared to the current share price, or the bid will be rejected. Time will tell.
