BrokeNSmoke, I've always been of the opinion that SMS holding his golden share was good think for all shareholders, that it protected us from sharks taking over S4 for a pittance. I would rather play the long game, risk losing the lot than let someone take my S4 shares on the cheap. A deal on Sorrell's terms would be good enough for me. He's no fool, far from it. S4 current market cap is priced to fail, I don't see that happening, but never say never. Time will tell. S4's priority should be paying off debt, then share buy backs, forget dividends. It's debt that kills companies.

Thanks for posting the article GoCPI, I found it somewhat reassuring, well worth the read.

On the subject of the potential new "whopper". I think I'm right in saying that Google is our top client with Amazon in second and Meta in third palce. GM while not a new client is expected to become a new whopper, top three client this year 2025. If the new client is going to be in second place obviously Amazon & GM would drop down a place respectively. The current annalysts earnings forecasts for this year has S4 to come in with a loss of £38.8m, this figures hasn't changed for months now, it may well be updated after H1 results on 15 Sept. I'm hopeful with cost cutting (job cuts) and if true new whopper clients on board S4 may breakeven, with reduced net debt, if we have a good second half of 2025. Thoughts anyone?

Maybe a new "whopper" (China Mobile) will be announced in the results on Sept 15.

GoCPI, I also had the same thought as you. "We can’t name due to NDA restrictions." However, then goes on to mention T-mobile of the USA as a client. I then did a quick Google below. Interesting......

You sound desperate to buy back in Wildtiger. It won't be about the H1 results as previously discussed on here, H1 results already priced in, it will be all about the outlook Q3 forward looking statement that will determine the share price short term. While I don't have a crystal ball unlike that other clown lse2000 I do feel that the tide is turning at long last for S4 Capital. Time will tell.

Good point GoCPI. I've always been of the opinion that a day trader may well make quite a few small successful trades. But at some point sells up when a share price breaks out of its trading range, only to end up kicking himself, unless he panic buys, and buys the shares back at a higher price. While the long term investor reaps the rewards over a longer period. Each to their own. I like to think that I'm an investor not a gambler.

Agreed, weak UK shareholders panic sell up, while USA take advantage and hoover up cheap shares. S4's largest shareholders are from USA, Patient Capital Management & Third Avenue Management.
