Absolutely, it's a corrupt market place. The big question is will it ever change, will we ever see the true valuation again in the BT share price?

Once again BT financial results beat market expectations, the share price starts off up 4p and then drops back to currently down 0.85p a day after Vodafone reported that they made a loss, yet their share price closed up 7.5p. BT are unloved by the city, when will this change, if ever? Is the BT share price going down to 100p again? I for one don't know.

If BT are true to their word they intend starting the dividends from 2021/22 financial year, with a dividend for the full year of 7.7p per share. So investors can look forward to an interim dividend that should be paid out in early February 2022, with the full year dividend expected to be paid out in August 2022.

I agree with you mate, along with every man and his dog that believe that BT are worth at least £3 per share. When will the stock market change it's opinion on BT? Most probably once most of the £8bln as been spent on FTTP. We may have to be more patient than I originally expected, maybe 2025 before we see £3.

I see that GamStop Corp are coming back down to earth today, closing down 59.91% @ $90.21.

In 7 trades after the close almost 16 million shares were bought. Promising.

Simply Wall St have ITV fair value at 137p who are usually pretty good to be honest. My fair value is 160p.

Agreed Rock. I read last summer I think it was, that the ITV board of directors would offer a management buyout than let ITV go for less than 192p per share. Also, I would expect asset strippers to move in if a low-ball bid was made. Any low-ball bid that would have to be in the region of 160p would be turned down in my opinion.

I agree that BT would be a good fit with ITV. However, I don't see that happening with BT having a big Cap Ex (£8bln) over the next 4 years with the fibre build, plus an already large net debt. Vodafone also carries a large amount of debt. Unlikely to be either of these two in my opinion. Favourite is Liberty Global.

"Can’t believe Marshalls still have the short open"

A poster on ADVFN said at the end of last week that Marshalls had closed their ITV short.

Considering that the FTSE100 was almost down 300pts & FTSE250 almost 400pts ITV held up pretty well down only 0.55p. I'm hopeful that we maybe in for a good bounce next week. With good news on the virus and vaccine distribution improving daily.

If Goldman Sachs have taken a back seat from playing their games with ITV share price we may recover sooner than expected. Something definitely spooked GS, Redditt maybe? While Liberty Global have taken back their loaned out 9.9% holding from GS, I ask myself why? Why would they do that if they have no immediate plans for their holding? Time will tell.

Faultsman, you have the option to filter Velo if you don't like reading his post's. I for one look forward to Velo's knowledgeable post's, always worth my time reading them. I'm sure that most board members appreciate his in depth comments. Keep the good work coming Velo.

GameStop currently up 85%, changing all the time with wild swings. We could do with some of that at BT.
