Love him or loathe him Piers Morgan pulls in the viewers, that's all that matters to ITV.

He will soon be going back on the naught step (filter) BernhardLonger, I just thought with a good day for ITV that I would give him a little of what he dishes out. He will move on when the share price continues it's recovery.

Tom my dear fellow, if you only knew. I'm not one to boast, but I will make an exception this once. I made my wealth and retired before my 29th birthday, most of my wealth is tied up in property. I invest in shares for a little interest. a gamble if you like. If I was to lose every penny that I have invested in my shares portfolio it would make no difference to my quality of life. Sorry to disappoint you. Also Tom, I'm not the pensioner that you think that I am, I'm 54 years of age, I think that you're about 43, so not a big difference in us apart from one of us needs to work for a living and one doesn't.

A bit of friendly advise Tom, don't gamble on the stock market with borrowed money, it may come back to bite you. In fact it already is doing with AstraZeneca. Tut-tut.

Agreed H-hi, not forgetting the football Euro's in June, nice boost to advertising will recover this share price to 160p by year end.

I see that AstraZeneca are struggling to get above £68, TomTit bought at £80 LOL, he would be almost breaking even had he not sold ITV at 82p having bought in at 120p. Chasing your losses is a mugs game, brokers want you to chase them.

Hi Aus, Liberty Global own 9.9% of ITV. Not sure about Channel 5.

3card, to be fair I think most do have him on filter including myself. Unfortunately if a poster reply's to him, it then opens up the discussion for posters to make a comment. Unless all filter him I suspect this will continue.

When TomTit decides to raise the white flag (French are good at that) at AstraZeneca having purchased at £80 per share, now £69, maybe he will move on and blight that discussion board with his anti AstraZeneca comments. Just a thought.

Yes TomTit is doing a great job, if we had all listened to this clown we would have all sold out of ITV at 50p, 60p, 70, 80p, I could go on. He's just a bitter ex ITV shareholder who blames ITV for his own actions in taking a very big loss in ITV. Had he had the balls to hold on, he would almost be breaking even. There's no fool like an old fool.

Good day for holding ITV today guys. ITV closed up 4.85p (4.42%) @ 114.70, beating the previous high closing price of 113.50p. This bodes well higher highs and all that.

ITV have a chance of regaining the FTSE100 index position, the reshuffle takes place after close on Wednesday 3/3/21. ITV will need a share price of at least 120p I feel, to stand a chance. Never say never. GL to all that hold ITV.

ITV full year results will be announced on 9/3/21 a week tomorrow.

Solley, a close above 113.50p will be a new closing high, current share price 114.10p. We may well see a nice move up ahead of the results next week. Share price will then move on ITV's forward looking statement.

Good advice BernhardLonger. Yes I recall Mr Tit claiming to have made £2 million last year out of his investments, yet he still works for a living. The mind boggles. Good advice filter him, I have.

Bad day all round, but at least ITV had another up week, closed up 0.40p again, unlike AstraZeneca down 3.89% on the week @£69.45p Oops. Poor fool that purchased @£80.00. LOL £10.55p per share loss.

My money would also be on Liberty making a bid, but everyone knows that John Malone likes a bargain, hence ITV taking steps to defend a lowball bid. Quite rightly too. You may also recall back in the summer that the BOD were said to be willing to make a management buyout than let ITV go on the cheap. Also, not forgetting recently Liberty recalled their 9.9% shareholding from Goldman Sachs. What plans do LG have for these shares?
