Hi Robbie, as an ITV shareholder myself I was interested to read the following taken from your latest update...

“I’ve been building a big stake in ITV for a close to a year and including spreadbets I now own a hefty £150,000 having bought some more last week, probably the last lot! The averaging up here has worked nicely. As the price rises the more likely it is any bid will now have to be over the 200p mark.”

After looking at your recent trades I notice that you only hold 25,000 ITV shares. Would I be right in thinking that you have spread bets to the value of the remaining value of £150,000 in total?

I must also say looking at your other trades you don’t hold such a large holding in any other company, so why such a large amount in ITV?

As I mention in the intro to the website the website trade is usually just one of others I hold .

The ITV shares are nearly all in spreadbets to avoid stamp duty.

I currently hold about £3 million of shares overall

While I appreciate Robbie Burns reply he didn't answer my question regarding why does he hold such a large holding in one share notably ITV, yes he discloses that he owns £3 million in his shares portfolio, but I find it unusual for him to hold such a large holding in ITV, read into that what you will, he also has a 140p price target on ITV.

Maybe the penny has dropped and he realises that he's wasting his time, it may have taken him 689 posts to realise this, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I think that at 15 years the BOD would be happy with that outcome.

I would like to know what his success rate is?

"I heard from a reliable source it would be 50p by Easter."

I just wonder Holla, did your reliable source mean 150p???

We have just had 4 consecutive weeks of gains in the ITV share price, so I think that we may have a small retrace to 119p, before we continue with the upward momentum. I hope to be proved wrong.

Thank you Janus for sharing Tom's life story and appreciate that it cannot have been easy for you to share this. I wish Tom well and would strongly advise that he gets professional help, a good place to start would be his GP.

Someone yesterday on the ADVFN board said the following "upgrade from Credit Suisse on the back of the final results"

I haven't lost a penny TomTit, unlike you. I haven't owned shares in ITV for 4 years yet, I never buy in to a company in hope of a takeover, only a fool would do that.

I had visions of you laughing this morning when the ITV share price was down 8.98p, only for you to cringe for the rest of the day at the recovery. Admit your mistake and show some dignity, if you have any, it's only going to get more painful for you watching the ITV share price recovery.

You will clearly recognise Tom in his high viz jacket, with his broom in hand.

Better results than what I was expecting. Outlook for advertising outlook looking very good with 60-75% plus in April alone. Net debt also improving, £545m at 31 December 2020 (31 December 2019 £893m), which is unusually low. Let's see what the market makes of these results.
